Hi Anne -
Hey, do me a favor and quote the person you are replying to?
I can never tell who the hell you are talking to!

The article you cited contradicts your main argument in this thread...
"However, DasSarma thinks that life also could have begun in the early salty ocean. He has found that, due to the low water activity of hypersaline brines, macromolecules can form from organic molecules. A macromolecule is a very large molecule, such as a protein or other polymer."
So perhaps high salinity is a requirement for abiogenesis. Thank you for bringing this article to our attention. I wasn't aware of this hypothesis before.

Do not like quoting persons, as it nicely puts underneath the body of the message in nice orange letters who the message is replied to.
No need to duplicate more information, and secondly, I am not sure how to use quote button, becuase it quotes the whole darn article. And I hate that.

Quotes are necessary to make your posts comprehensible. And you needn't use the "Reply with quote" button, I don't.
Just use the "Reply without quote" button and scroll down below the text box and you will find the message you are replying to in its entirety. Cut-and-paste what you want to quote to your text box and enclose it in (QUOTE)(B)(/B)(/QUOTE) except using brackets instead of ().
If not your posts get really hard to read or very vague without knowing what you are commenting on. "Duplicating information" is necessary or else things get confusing.

I'm with Gene on the quotes. However, my real reason for posting is to try to direct Anne's attention toward Wordswordsman's odd mixing of 'circle' and 'sphere' here: EvC Forum: A listing of the contradictions and errors in the bible.
