Re: ...continuing...
just to tell you there is no outside evidence of nimrod, other than the bible
heres a good site on assyira http://www.aina.org/aol/peter/brief.htm
while tradition may say what that book does, evidence we found doesn't agree with it
she did exist though but she never knew nimrod or married anyone named nimus, it was a cultural myth the greeks wrote

Cool site,
quote:
Just to tell you there is no outside evidence of Nimrod, other than the Bible
Didn't you just provide a website with a landmark called, "Nimrod"?
Under the subtitle of "geography" and under the 2nd paragraph, "Strategically surrounding the Tigris and the two Zabs are the Assyrian cities of Nineveh, Ashur, Arbel, Nimrod and Arrapkha."
Your thoughts?
Edited by bibbo, : I spelled "paragraph" incorrectly.

no, i don't think its suppost to be nimrod
Under the subtitle of "geography" and under the 2nd paragraph, "Strategically surrounding the Tigris and the two Zabs are the Assyrian cities of Nineveh, Ashur, Arbel, Nimrod and Arrapkha."
i think its a typo i think they mean nimrud Nimrud - Wikipedia
if they wrote nimrod on purpose, you got me, theres no place called nimrod anywhere in the middle-east
Edited by ReverendDG, : No reason given.
