That's fine if Greeks said the earth was round; however our modern society didn't believe it until recently.
Uh, no. Maybe it was a revelation to you, personally, but everybody else has known since the Greeks.
Common knowledge, my friend.
So if the Bible said it too, then that is a pretty good reason to credit its accuracey.
Dude, no. That was the point. So the Bible writers wrote something that was common knowledge then and common knowledge since. So what?
So it is safe to say the Bible is accurate; not necessarily perfect (in your beliefs), but still proven accurate. No?
No.
It's accurate when it matches reality; it's inaccurate when it does not. You know, like everything else. In regards to it's ability to answer questions we don't already know the answer to, it's useless.
And 1+1=2 is math; however, truth+truth=truth is faith--assuming you were not mislead by a lie, discrediting it, and making it truth+lie=conflict
I'm sorry; I don't speak nonsense.
I don't know why you're participating in a Biblical thread which supports its accuracey in order to tell us believers we're wrong.
Because that's what we do here - when people show up and say things that aren't true, we correct them.
I'll credit you enough to assume you're only doing this because you too are interested in God and are shown promise by my faith
I'll thank you not to speculate on my motives.
Do not add replies to the thread for it won't increase your faith.
No, but I'll sure have a good time.
