JesuisSean writes:
Imagine a priest who volunteers to be a life guard on weekdays. Suddenly, a little girl is screaming for help not to far from the edge of the pool. The priest extends his arm toward the little girl and says, " I believe that I can save you. ". But being a man who sticks to his beliefs, he stands their like a statue with his arm extended toward the little girl. People begin to scream, " Father, do something, she is going to drown.". But he does not, for he is a man who sticks to his beliefs, and thus does not leave them behind and approach the truth itself instead.
I know this one!
The girl didn't drown because she was on dry land ("not to far from the edge of the pool").
Did I guess right?
JesuisSean writes:
And his friends say, " Right on J.C., we did not believe a single words that you said, for we heard the Truth instead.".
I like quotes from the bible. This one is cool. The disciples are saying "Right on", which is cool.
JesuisSean writes:
Thus if you present the truth to them, it is immediately rejected, for it is not the same as less than truth.
I have tried to present the truth to you, but you immediately rejected it, for it is not the same as less than truth.
Picture Jesus speaking to a group of men who could see and hear the truth, but you aren't there. You are definitely not there. You will never be there.
If you believe, and stick to that belief, then you will not see the truth.
You MUST stop believing!
