Spare Yourself
Shyangel,
As a fellow Christian I will cut to the point and give you some friendly advice. The opening of this thread sounded like a prayer request or something. This is NOT a support forum for Christian prayer requests, this is a debate between atheists and theists (and sometimes between theists)where anything said has a 9 in 10 chance to be shot full of bullet holes by the first guy to read it.
I haven't read all of your posts on this forum but I'm under the impression you are strong in your faith and are a good person who has already found your truth and calling. Hey, you're way ahead of us if that's the case and we're glad that at least SOMEONE can sleep without pondering existence at night. However, if you want to discuss prayers in a Christian online community this isn't the place. If you post something like that, it's like cutting your hand in shark infested water.

Wanna feel God? Step onto the wrestling mat and you'd be crazy to deny the uplifting spirit.

Re: Spare Yourself
I resent the shark reference.
The resemblance in dentition is purely coincidental.

the one true bible would have to be "the king james version" not the revised king james version or the new king james version just "the king james version" it is the one true bible because it is from the origanal transcripts. these scripts were tranlated into english by 52 highly educated english men, 2 of them died before it was complete though, the bible was translated in sections, 2 or 3 would work on one section while other groups would do another, when they were done they would give the transcripts to the next group and they would check and recheck each other, untill all 52 (50) men agreed on every section, this was done before the dead sea scrolls were found but when they were found they saw that they were dead on.
52 men all agreed, all other bibles had 1 to like 15 men translate the bible, a big diference.

who is debating
...this is a debate between atheists and theists (and sometimes between theists)
You're comment about "sometimes between theists" doesn't really cover it. This is a debate between Biblical literalists and non-literalists (of all stripes). It is between those who think that religious ideas should be introduced into science classes and those, of all beliefs, who don't.
The non-literalists camp includes every type of belief from very devote believers (specifically Christians are included) to militant atheists and everyone in between. Here, in this forum, I would guess that the atheists/agnostic camp is greater in proportion than in the general population but the arguement is not split that way either here or in society as a whole.

Wow!!! Darn.. I was brought Up catholic (which is Christen).. I was Told the King James Bible is flawed in many ways... I will say it does have a few more errors then the Catholic... But All Bibles still have Some Major Problems with them in common
it is the one true bible because it is from the origanal transcripts
So is the Catholic Bible
these scripts were tranlated into english by 52 highly educated english men, 2 of them died before it was complete though, the bible was translated in sections, 2 or 3 would work on one section while other groups would do another, when they were done they would give the transcripts the next group and they would check and recheck each other, untill all 52 (50) men agreed on every section, this was done before the dead sea scrolls were found but when they were found they saw that they were dead on.

You Really think this Don't you??? LOL wow!! The King James Bible was Rushed... They where given a certain amount of time... if they didn't Translate it in that amount of time they where going to be killed... way to know the history of your Bible!

it seems to me that we dont have real clear understanding of just what sin is, so let me explain it.
sin is when u willingly and knowingly go againts gods will, u r not born with sin, everyone has sinned, but they werent born with it, the only person ever to go thier entire lives without sinning is jesus, the son of god, the word (the bible) made flesh, but he was tempted throughout his life. people that never heard about jesus and that dont know anything about sin, well they litterally cannot sin, and r therefore not going to hell.

King James was a Poon
It(the King James Version of the Holy Bible) may have been translated across languages well, but do a little research on Jamesy and I can't help but think he did some friendly 'editing' of the Bible...
