That is not a definition. What do the other terms mean?
What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence. -Christopher Hitchens Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness. If your viewpoint has merits and facts to back it up why would you have to lie?

Phat, all ancient pagan religions had their versions of
trinity, or triad deities. Lucifer desired to rule with the Father and Son as a trinity. He wanted to sit at the left hand of God. He could not. He, as ruler of the world, influenced all pagan religionsinto accepting this false concept. In Egypt, around 2300 BC, the triad deities consisted ofOsiris (Nimrod), Isis (Semiramis), and Horus. In Babylon these same three were known Nina's, Ishtar, and Tammuz. In Ancient Rome Jupiter, juno, and Minervo. In Ancient Greece Zeus, Hades, and posed on. The Ancient roots of Hinduism, after the 6th Century BCfeatured the 3 in 1 God Trimurti. Brahman consisted of Brahma-creator, Vishnu-preserver,and Shiva-destroyer. What the Great Religions Believe, Joseph Gaer p.25. & Exploring Ancient History - The First 2500 Years, ch 11, 24. The years from 70 AD to 170 AD in church history isvirtually blank. This age is known as the "Age of Shadows." When the curtains are drawn back we see a church thatis much different from the one the Apostles described. Iniquity was already influencing the church during thetime of Paul and John. Read 2Thessalonians 27; 2Corinthians 11: 13-15;1John 4:1; Jude 3; a d 3John 9-10 to name a few. The term trinity is soaked in paganism.

In John 9:38 there is an account of Jesus allowing a man to WORSHIP him. Please explain.
"He said, “Lord, I believe”; and he worshiped him."

In Revelation 22:8-9, the apostle John attempted to worship an angel, but was severely admonished:
"And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. But he *said to me, “Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God.” In Matthew 4:9-10, Satan said to Jesus,“All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.”". But Jesus *said to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him"". In light of these passages, please explain why Jesus allowed a man to worship him in John 9:38.

Dredge, there are several aspects to these verses. And, I
will have to text them in several posts. I will try to text them all today. I am texting this on my break. First of all, Jesus was worthy of worship. There are manyexamples of people worshipping Him in the NT. The angel prevented John from worshipping him becausehe was not worthy of worship Just a few examples of Jesus being worshipped duringhis earthly ministry. Notice that Jesus accepted worship. Matthew 8:2; 9:18; 14:33; 15:25; 28:17.John 9:28; 20:28. Genesis 3:15 (in layman terms) states that a seed ofEve's would defeat Satan. Satan knew this prediction, and knew it well. He dideverything in his power to prevent the birth of this seed. He tried, through King Herod, to have the child killed. Read the 2nd chapter of Matthew.

There is actually controversy as to who wrote Revelation, and your "side" by no means is the only voice on this issue. (It would make sense, however, for the mythicists and Biblical critics to attempt any legal means whatsoever to discredit the source.) Your side will always respec the critical thinkers as unbiased. My side will argue that both sides have motive. Either spread the good news about the Messiah or try and prove that He never existed. Clearly we are in an ongoing war. Jesus may have already won, but Satan may likely get 80% of the people on his side using logic and evidence, ironically.
Of course my critics will handwave all of this away as fantasy and wishful thinking! ![]() The meaning of the Trinity in practical terms is that the Creator of all seen and unseen came to earth as a human and left us His Spirit. No 3 ways about it! ![]() That being said, I will say that far too many "believers" are simply sitting around waiting for rescue from what will soon become a godforsaken place. The humanists will justfy the evil of negative thinking and brainwashing through religion and will attempt to wipe the "virus" from humanity. AZSolutions3 can tell you more about that! ![]()

My concern is that you seem to be thinking like an insect again.
Revelation was not written by John the apostle. I find it interesting that atheists like myself tend to know more about the Bible than believers. From The Catholic Encyclopedia: The author of the Apocalypse calls himself John. "John to the seven churches which are in Asia" (Apocalypse 1:4). And again, "I, John, your brother and your partner in tribulation . . . was in the island which called Patmos, for the word of God" (1:9). The Seer does not further specify his personality. But from tradition we know that the Seer of the Apocalypse was John the Apostle the son of Zebedee, the Beloved Disciple of Jesus. At the end of the second century the Apocalypse was acknowledged by the historical representatives of the principal churches as the genuine work of John the Apostle. CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Apocalypse

Dredge, Jesus is the member of the God family that
created everything, both seen and unseen. He even created all angelic beings, including Satan himself. John 1:3,10; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17. The demons who possessed the two individuals inMatthew 8:28-29 knew who Jesus.was. They cried out to Jesus "what have we to do with thee,Jesus, thou Son of God? Are thou come hither to torment us before the time?" And, Satan most certainly knew who had created him. After Christ had been baptized and started His ministry,Satan clearly understood that he must find a way to disqualify Jesus from replacing him as ruler of the world. The only way Satan could do this was by causing Jesusto sin. Satan most certainly believed that it was possible for Jesus to sin. Jesus, who was a physical being was subject to the sameneeds that the rest of humanity is subject to. He was surrounded by powerful angels who come to Hisdefense if required, but He could have sinned. Jesus prayed to His Father constantly. He relied onstrength from His Father to keep Him from sinning. If Jesus had sinned, even once, humans would not havea sacrifice for the death penalty. We would remain dead for all eternity. Jesus most certainly knew that He was capable ofsinning. Before He was to be tempted by Satan Jesus fastedfor 40 days-He ate nothing. He prayed constantly the entire time. His challenge wasto be the most important challenge in all of history. There was no reason for Him to so thoroughly prepareHimself if it were impossible for Him to sin.

Dredge writes: The author of the Apocalypse calls himself John. There are millions of people who call themselves John in the present day. That doesn't make them apostles.
quote: The consensus of modern scholars is that the John of Revelations and the John of Acts are two different people.

Only God can create, therefore Jesus = God. Jesus is the member of the God family thatcreated everything, both seen and unseen. He even created all angelic beings, including Satan himself. Thomas the apostle addressed Jesus as "my Lord and my God". Elizabeth referred to Mary's unborn child (Jesus) as "my Lord", which is a Jewish reference to God.
