Nwr, I looked at post 720, and all I saw was someone
who supports any and all abortions
Then you are not seeing straight.
What I see in that post, is where I quoted you telling a deliberate and malicious falsehood.
For the record, I do not "support any and all abortions". So that's another malicious falsehood.

Dwise, late-term abortion Doctor Kermit Gosnell, of
Philadelphia, performed thousands of abortions over
a 17 year career.
Dr. Gosnell would deliver infants alive, ant then "snip"
the back of their necks to sever the spinal cord.
"His technique came to light during a drug bust at his
clinic, because he also dealt in illegal prescription
drugs.
It seems like you and Dr. Gosnell could have been
best of friends. You both think alike.
God can and will forgive someone for murdering their
own baby, but they must feel deep remorse an seek
His forgiveness.

Simplistically Speaking
From my vantage point, it seems that one side supports the Right To Life and the other side supports the Right To Choose.
For the record, I am a pro-choice Christian.

The Marines have a saying. "Kill 'em all and let God sort them out".
I say that each case is unique. Some babies are better off never having lived. (for various reasons)
Others should be allowed the right to life. But if so, the state must provide the means by which to raise them. Do you want your taxes going up for a kid you never knew?
Liberals try and support everything by appropriating other people's money. They should not have this carte blanche.

Phat, both sides support the right to choose.
One side supports the right to choose life.
The other side supports the right to choose death.
One side doesn't have a monopoly on the right to choose.

John 8:3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
I like to point out that Jesus didn't cast the first stone either.

Re: Jewish chronicles and the big JC
Ringo, you said that Jesus did not cast the first stone
either.
The Pharisees brought a woman to Jesus who had been
caught in the very act of adultery.
They insisted that Moses commands those committing
adultery to be stoned.
Notice that only the woman was brought before Jesus.
Both the woman and man caught in adultery were to be
stoned.
This was a trap and Jesus knew it. This is why He bent
down and starting writing in the ground.
What did He write? I don't know.
I believe that He was writing the names of the accusers
and listing each of their sins.
Finally, He replied "He that is without sin among you, let
him first cast a stone at her."
Convicted by their conscience of their own sins, they
left, one after the other.
I want you to notice in verse 6, they, the scribes and
Pharisees, were trying to set Jesus up, that they might
accuse him.
If Jesus had said "stone her," the Pharisees would have
reported this to Pilate.
It was against Roman law for anyone other than the
proper authority to condemn a person to death.
If Jesus had told them not to stone her, they would have
accused Him of not respecting the law given to Moses
by God--who was Jesus (as the Word).
Jesus was the member of the God family who wrote the
10 Commandments on stone, with His own finger.
Notice that Jesus told the adulteress to go and sin no
more. Adultery is still a sin.
Misguided people try to use Jesus' words to not cast the
first stone, as to judge not.
To support this belief they quote Matthew 7:1 "Judge not
that ye be no judged."
But read verse 5: "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam
out of thine own eyes; AND then shalt thou see clearly to
cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Jesus came into the world to pay our death penalty. As
our Creator His life is worth far more than all of ours
combined.
His death buys us a resurrection from the dead. At that
time all humans will have access to God's Holy Spirit.
They will then be taught by Jesus Himself, and by all
those at that time who have already become members
of the God family.
John 3:17 "For God sent not His Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through Him
might be saved."
But, remember this, both adultery and murder of babies
qualify for the death penalty.
It would be really difficult for me to sentence a woman
who had an abortion to death.
If a woman keeps sleeping around and having abortions,
she should be somehow held accountable.
In any event, I believe that a doctor who murders little
babies should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

You're making that up. Jesus wan't born until centuries after the Ten Commandments were written.
candle2 writes:
Misguided people try to use Jesus' words to not cast the

Misguided people - like you - try to use the Old Testament to overrule Jesus.
candle2 writes:
To support this belief they quote Matthew 7:1 "Judge not
that ye be no judged."
I didn't say anything about judging. Go ahead and judge all you want. What Jesus said was that none of us is qualified to carry out our judgement, at least not to the point of death. And He included Himself in that disqualification.
candle2 writes:
But read verse 5: "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam
out of thine own eyes; AND then shalt thou see clearly to
cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
See? By all means, judge your brother - but only after you have judged yourself by the same standard (or an even higher standard). By all means, stone the adulterous woman - but only after you have been stoned yourself for your own sins. Remember Who also said that we are ALL sinners?
candle2 writes:
Jesus came into the world to pay our death penalty.
That makes no sense.
But even if it did, it would include the adulterous woman's death penalty.
candle2 writes:
As our Creator His life is worth far more than all of ours
combined.
What life? How can a god be alive?
candle2 writes:
If a woman keeps sleeping around and having abortions,
she should be somehow held accountable.
What about a twelve-year-old girl who is raped? Shall we execute her too?
candle2 writes:
In any event, I believe that a doctor who murders little
babies should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
They already are. It's what the (human) law should say that's in question here.
You would execute a doctor who saves a woman's life by terminating a pregnancy that is killing her. That's sick.
