Why cant it be both, acting in Communion? That seems to leave is with two possibilities: (1) Phat doesn't exist, except as God's puppet; or (2) God doesn't exist, except as Phat's puppet. I think I prefer the second of those.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

The first mistake non-Catholic Christians (nCCs) make ... Not everyone agrees with your views of catholic supremacy. Message 539Stop Tzar Vladimir the Condemned!

No need to assume ... I made that obvious in the previous post when I wrote, "non-Catholic Christians (nCCs)"
I'm assuming that nCCs=non Catholic Christians And why would I believe that only the Pope is privy to having the Holy Spirit?
I don't know. I'm not aware of anyone who believes that.
Or do you suggest that Cardinals can get Spooktacular results too?
The Holy Spirit is at work in every Christian, but in a special way in the bishops of the Church, and in a more special way still in the bishop of Rome, the Pope (who holds the "keys of the kingdom of heaven" - Matt 16:19). The Holy Spirit works through the Pope and the bishops to ensure that the Church's teachings are infallibly correct and are faithfully passed on to each generation.

Dwise 1, you seem to think that God did not know that
there would be all these different denominations and religions. You seem to think that God is trying with all His might toconvert humanity during this present age. Why do you think this? The truth is that you have no idea why God allowshuman suffering? You try to rely on philosophy, but in this situationphilosophy is worthless. Those who don't understand what God is doing canand will become very angry with Him. In fact, they can grow to hate Him. He understands this, but He will not deviate from His plan. In their philosophical world they believe they are rightin condemning God. They never seem to understand that if their premises are wrong that their conclusions will be wrong. 1 Cor. 2:11 " For what man knows the things of a man, save the Spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God." Humans have a spirit in us, but it is not another person.Neither is the Spirit of God another person. Our spirit can can fellowship with God's Holy Spirit. Thisis why humans can create and accomplish marvelous feats that others animals can't. With our human spirit we can think and dreams of otherplaces, but we are limited. God has a body. He has a face, hands, etc... He is in oneplace, but His Holy Spirit is everywhere in the universe. There is no place where His Holy Spirit is not at. God can act through His Holy Spirit at any place and anytime. Through His Holy Spirit God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. If the Holy Spirit were a person then he would require aSpirit in order to be everywhere at the same time. The Holy Spirit is not an impersonal force. It contains theminds of both the Father and the Son.

Hilarious. Protestant myths are so entertaining.
300 of the 318 delegates at Nicaea (325 AD) wereintimidated into voting in favor of the trinity. The universal Church strictly forbad it subjects from owning Bibles. They also refused the Bible to be written in any language except Latin.
... and for good reason. Once the masses got hold of the Bible, any ignoramus or idiot could read it and invent erroneous and heretical doctrines, stupidly claiming to be "led by the Holy Spirit". That's why there now exist 46,000 fake churches, all teaching fake Christianity based on fake doctrines based on fake interpretations of the Bible.

Dredge, it doesn't take a good deal of effort to look into
the history of the Catholic Church. I suggest that you read all you can about it. Simon Magus (the sorcerer), was the sorcerer in Actswho tried to buy to buy the power of the Holy Spirit. Several historians record that he went to Rome andperformed miracles that garnered him much fame. His miracles were performed with demonic assistance.Simon the Sorcerer began a religion that developed, with the assistance of Satan, into Catholicism. The RCC is perhaps the most evil and vile organizationon earth. The members of the RCC are deceived. God will, after thesecond resurrection, open their eyes to His truths. They will then be offered their first true opportunity to become members of the God family. The Pope, Cardinals, and Bishops know that they are inleague with Satan and his demons. They have sold themselves to Satan for power and prestige. There no longer remains a sacrifice for them. They willbe resurrected just long enough to be sentenced to the second death, which is permanent.

Dredge, the RCC has numerous daughter churches
that still keep many of her man-made traditions. Even though these daughter churches insistthey are not now, nor were they ever, associated with the RCC, they have adopted many of her doctrines. Doctrines that are not supported by the Holy Bible. Among these doctrines are: Sunday worship. Sunday is the mark of boththe Roman Empire and its image, the RCC. Immortality of the soul.Eternal suffering in hell fire. Going to heaven as our reward. The trinity. And there are many more that contradict clearBiblical teaching.

Ask him specifically what it is that is unclear. This could take all day.
