Charley: When Bill Clinton had Israel signing the peace deal florida was flattened by a hurricane.
arachnophilia: camp david was 2000. i do not recall any significant hurricanes in 2000. (i live in south florida)
Hurricane Andrew hit in 1992 but interestingly it happened on the same day talks in the US in respect to Israel giving up land. The flattening of Florida happened on George Bush Sr. watch with Hurricane Andrew being one of the greatest natural disasters ever to hit America.
In respect to Clinton and the camp david peace talks you have hurricane Dennis & Floyd that devastated (flooded) North Carolina.

August 1992 - Hurricane Andrew
Hurricane Andrew hit the DAY the peace conference met in Washington D.C. One of the greatest natural disasters ever in American history hit the very day of the conference for Israel to give away its land took place.
God was not hiding what He was doing. He was making it crystal clear that when a nation or nations move against His people, HE WILL RISE UP AND JUDGE THAT NATION!
---------------------------------------------
On September 1 while Dennis was meandering along the North Carolina coast, Secretary of State Madeline Albright flew to the Middle East. Albright met with several Arab leaders before meeting with Yasser Arafat and Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak on September 3rd. The purpose of Albright's visit was the restart the Wye Agreement which had stalled. This agreement, reached in October 1998, involved Israel giving away land for peace. As a result of this meeting between Albright, Arafat and Barak, the talks were restated and both sides agreed to have the final agreement for Israel to give land for peace by September 12, 2000. Both sides agreed to meet on September 13, 1999 to begin the final talks which would conclude September 2000.
Dennis was lingering and actually moving away from the coast but the very exact time Albright met in Israel on September 3 the storm reversed course and hit North Carolina. This hurricane was literally doing circles in the Atlantic Ocean until the meeting in Israel. On this very day, the hurricane then hit the United States. While it didn't do any immediate damage its effects would be felt by another storm that was coming to North Carolina just a few weeks later by the name of FLOYD.
On September 13, 1999, the Israeli foreign minister and one of Arafat's deputies met to work out arrangements for what is called the "Final Status" of Israeli giving land away. This meeting was a result of Albright's trip the week before. They agreed that by February 15, 2000 to present outlines for the borders of the Palestinian state, the status of Jerusalem, and the Jewish settlements in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
On that same day, Hurricane Floyd strengthened into a very dangerous category FIVE hurricane with sustained winds of 155 mph. The forecasters at the National Hurricane Center were astonished how quickly Floyd grew in size and strength in one day. The actual statement was, Floyd grew unexpectedly into a monster of a storm on Sunday. This was the very day the meeting was taking place in Israel to give away the land.
On September 16, 1999 Hurricane Floyd slammed into North Carolina. While the winds had diminished to 105 mph its size was unprecedented. Hurricane-force winds extended out 150 miles in front of it. This hurricane caused the greatest evacuation in the history of the United States during peace time. Millions of people were moved inland. The awesome destructive force of this storm was the rains. Rains of 20 inches or more fell over the entire eastern part of North Carolina. The rivers were still swollen and the land soaked from Hurricane Dennis two weeks before. Some 18,000 square miles were destroyed.
In North Carolina, 28 counties were declared a state of emergency. Some 400-500 roads were closed. Farmers estimated over 100,000 hogs, 2.47 million chickens and over 500,000 turkeys were dead. Head amounts of horses and cattle also died. Sewage and water systems were knocked out. Sewage, chemicals and dead animals all flowed into the rivers creating an environmental nightmare. Some entire countries were nearly totally destroyed. THe damage to agriculture was estimated at $1 billion, but could exceed this amount. The loss to buildings, home and roads was in the billions. This was the great disaster to hit North Carolina since the Civil War.
While Israel was meeting with Palestinians to give away the covenant land under pressure from the United States of America, almost the entire East Coast of America was being ravaged by a monster hurricane.
Zechariah 12:9 - And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Hmmm, Germany seem to be doing pretty well. As do all the xians who persecuted Jewish people for hundreds of years.
I contend that you are interepting the data incorrectly. Correlation is always liable to be labled causal unless one applies approriate rigour.

coincidence?

It was a sign, all right, but real estate had nothing to do with it. I know for a fact that Hurricane Andrew was all my girlfriend's fault.
She had been on a diet. But we were in a restaurant that day, and she figured it wouldn't hurt anything if she had one slice of Key lime pie.
The storm hit Florida within the hour. When she saw the terrible devastation on the news, she realized that God was angry about her gluttony. She repented at once and went back on her diet.
And guess what? The hurricane went away.

By George, I think you're onto something.
Your girlfriend's name didn't happen to be Florida, did it? Or Andrew?

angelas among you
A sign, yes, but again you do not know the real facts. I know all about these disasters and can tell you the exact cause.
Yep. My girlfriend again.
On September 1 while Hurricane Dennis was meandering along the North Carolina coast, Angela Wu, a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill then living in Baltimore, Maryland, was thinking about cheating on her diet. She was in a 7-Eleven near Joppa Road, gazing at the array of Doritos on display. She purchased a bag of barbecue-flavor Doritos and took it out to her car. Angela opened the bag and began eating the chips. She was wearing a shirt that had the words NORTH CAROLINA silk-screened across the front. As she cheated on her diet, crumbs fell on the name of the state.
Dennis was lingering and actually moving away from the coast but at the very exact time Angela began eating the Doritos the storm reversed course and hit North Carolina. This hurricane was literally doing circles in the Atlantic Ocean until she opened the bag. On this very day, the hurricane then hit the United States. While it didn't do any immediate damage its effects would be felt by another storm that was coming to North Carolina just a few weeks later by the name of FLOYD.
On September 13, 1999, Angela Wu drove past a new Krispy-Kreme on Reisterstown Road. She was tempted to go inside and buy some doughnuts but resisted the temptation. Two days later, though, she drove past the Krispy-Kreme again and decided to indulge. She went inside and ordered a half-dozen cake doughnuts with strawberry icing. She sat down at once and ate two of the doughnuts, then took the other four home and put them in her refrigerator.
What color is strawberry icing? Pink. And what word do people think of next when they hear the word pink? That's right. FLOYD.
This was the very day Angela Wu decided to cheat on her diet in Baltimore, Maryland.

with Hurricane Andrew being one of the greatest natural disasters ever to hit America.
let me again remind you of a pertinant fact. i live in south florida.
hurricane andrew demolished alot of the miami-dade and broward counties, specifically trailer parks and sub-standard housing. the damage from andrew was comparitively bad in relation to other hurricanes we have had here due largely to our poor codes and regulations at the time, and lack of enforcement. we've fixed that, now.
florida is a strange state. we are built largely on reclaimed swamp-land, which means that retention ponds, ditches, and canals are everywhere. we are basically flood-proof, because if we aren't, we'd already be underwater without the need for a hurricane. most houses (post-andrew) are constructed out of solid concrete, with reinforced roofs, beams tied down. a fair percentage of people even have permanent window-protection. we all more or less know the drill -- we just swarm for food the day before. perhaps this is not something to brag about, but we literally shrug off the smaller ones. sometimes, we even throw parties.
now, i'll admit, a category five like andrew (or even a four, like frances) is pretty terrifying. but we sure take them alot better than, say, nola. that was a disaster. we had andrew cleaned up within a year. frances and jeanne took a little longer -- things were still kinda messed up when wilma hit more than a year later. but the only reminder of frances, jeanne, or wilma are vague memories of our street having more shade. andrew is pretty long forgotten.
not a very clear-cut message, if you ask me. certainly not a biblical disaster.
In respect to Clinton and the camp david peace talks you have hurricane Dennis & Floyd that devastated (flooded) North Carolina.
so it wasn't andrew, it was some other hurricane?
look, i know you won't get this logic, but everyone else pay attention. this year was the first year that i can ever remember that we did not have a named hurricane hit the eastern seaboard. some years, we have 5 or 6. last year, we had so many they had the go into the never-before-used greek system.
the last two years, we've had to cancel several weeks of school to accomodate for nasty weather. if you do anything in august here, there's a high probability of it being interrupted by a hurricane. it's just a fact that we live with. so the fact that something happened on the same day as a hurricane is of complete insignificance.
heck, i can't even beginning to tell you how many important things have been scheduled for the day hurricanes have hit. tests, assignment -- i even missed a concert i'd been waiting for for six years because wilma. was that a message from god? or an unfortunate coincidence?
August 1992 - Hurricane Andrew
Hurricane Andrew hit the DAY the peace conference met in Washington D.C. One of the greatest natural disasters ever in American history hit the very day of the conference for Israel to give away its land took place.
there were extensive peace talks all throughout 91-93. surprise, some of those inbetween dates were in august 92. wow.
God was not hiding what He was doing. He was making it crystal clear that when a nation or nations move against His people, HE WILL RISE UP AND JUDGE THAT NATION!
i believe i speak for everyone in south florida when i say that if this is all god's got, we are not impressed. there are a few things more terrifying than a category five heading straight for you -- but the god that can flood the entire planet on a whim has surely got all of those things up his sleeve. if god wanted to solve the israeli-palestinian conflict, he could, instantly. he could take down the palestinians without batting a figurative eyelash. the verse you start with is from nahum, which is about god taking down the assyrian empire, who controlled some exceedingly large percentage of the known world at the time. he could destroy us without a second thought, nevermind palestine. and you think a hurricane is all he's got?
please.

SST is just another lie put out by godless materialist meteorologists.
Some people say all the weather bureaus of the world are mistaken.
But if you ask me, I think they know exactly what they're doing.
They all talk to each other, you know. It's a global network.

Mother Nature or Wrath of God?
1991 30 October - The Oslo Accord
President George H. Bush promoted and proudly signed the infamous Oslo Accord at the Madrid Peace Conference on October 30, 1991. The Oslo Accord was labeled a "Land for Peace" accord that demanded Israel award their land to the Palestinian murderers and terrorists in exchange for peace. The perverse Oslo proposition was simple: give us your land and we’ll stop killing you.
1991 31 October - The Next Day - The Perfect Storm hits
A very rare huge storm starting in the north Atlantic, moving east to west (wrong direction for storms to move - although in the Bible, the Holy Spirit and history move east to west). This storm was so unusual and contrary to "mother nature" it was immortalized by the book The Perfect Storm by Sebastian Junger and later a popular movie. Amazon says of the book The Perfect Storm, "Meteorologists called the storm that hit North America's eastern seaboard in October 1991 a "perfect storm" because of the rare combination of factors that created it. For everyone else, it was perfect hell. In The Perfect Storm, author Sebastian Junger conjures for the reader the meteorological conditions that created the "storm of the century" and the impact the storm had on many of the people caught in it."
Interesting, one of the first places The Perfect Storm hit was Kennebunkport, Maine. Waves over 30 foot demolished the home of guess who - President George H. Bush, the instigator of the Oslo Accord.

Forces of Nature or Blueberries of Wrath?
1991 30 October - The Dinner Party
Angela Wu, who had been on the same diet for five years, invited a group of friends to her home for dinner. Among the dishes she proudly prepared for her guests was blueberry cheesecake. With much fanfare she brought the decadent dessert to the table, where it was immediately hailed as a masterpiece of culinary leadership by all guests present. Yet the perversity of Ms Wu's recipe was simple: over 100 calories and 7 grams of fat in a single ounce. And needless to say, she participated in this indulgence, breaking her New Year's resolution of eleven months earlier to stick to her diet.
1991 31 October - The Next Day - The Perfect Storm hits
A very rare huge storm starting in the north Atlantic, moving east to west (wrong direction for storms to move - although all in the folklore surrounding Samhain, bad things tend to move east to west). This storm was so unusual and contrary to "mother nature" it was immortalized by the book The Perfect Storm by Sebastian Junger and later a popular movie. Interesting, one of the first places The Perfect Storm hit was Kennebunkport, Maine. Waves over 30 foot demolished a warehouse owned by - guess who - Meg & Mary Jo's Blue Ribbon Berries, the source of the sinful sugary topping on Angela Wu's decadent dessert.

Re: Mother Nature or Wrath of God?
You know, don't you, Charley, that Hurricanes Katrina and Rita were both aimed at G W Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas? They missed only because Allah (PBUH) has been out in the desert so long that He'd forgotten how to allow for the different "english" that warm Gulf water puts on a cyclone. Think snooker on Berber carpet, or tennis on lawn instead of clay.

Might we be making something simple into something very complicated? Isn't it possible that the Perfect Storm was simply God reminding us that he frowns upon us keeping the pagan celebration of Halloween?
