(We) Foolish Mortals -
We can believe in the writings of many or of old, or we can speculate
but would all rather 'find and meet' rather than 'kill' one of these Gigantos or Megs. Don't you agree?
Ancient Amer-Indian, Asian, even Biblical genesis lore all describe times gone past wherein there were "giants on the earth". Thousands
'witness' Bigfoot and Yeti (counterparts), so why do we still debate reality simply because we can't see, greet, touch, photograph and/or kill one (Grover was a fine scientist, but poor sportsman incapable of finding a superior animal-man with a scoped gun & dog in-tow and never camped in the deepest of woods or mountains or river valleys)
and hunt their existence in packs.
As David threw the stone & Grover carried the gun; Rheinhold Messner has met the Yeti (not a bear) and will return to his lair in 2007 to
'disprove' those calling him a liar, after the Royalty convinced him against public witness for scientific (Smithsonian) reasons and offered him high court status. He now knows the error of his ways.
Do any of you know where the Smithsonian has the Shemya Island (AK near Attu found @ WWII military excavation) giant skeletal remains? Or those of the 8'-15' tall numerous oopart (out of place artifacts) which were found in CA & CO goldrush 1800s mines? This is where we all need to begin our "scientific" research focus.
Since few (of you) have ever walked off into the forests & mountains alone, unaided by weapons and numbers en-force, this is the only logical area to begin. Let us have truth from the Smithsonian for honest and open discourse to begin: they offer none in their museums
yet they have recorded their 'purchases' and submissions by many. Even if the truth runs contrary to Darwinism, or already 'booked' history; remote, noncivil (perhaps for good reason, as who among us prefers Lebanon & Israel to a clear running stream full of rainbow trout and surroundings of fresh air w/o stress or monetary weights from social expectations), it makes totally logical, survivalistic, self-preservationist argument truth for such an Ani-Man to choose natural living unhampered throughout time by our small, selfish mentalities of distrust & nonsharing dischord based on visual differences among us.
Any fellow logicians out there, or anyone with sensible arguments not based on hyped, old ideas is welcome to reply. Just remember this, my friend; nothing happens in a void. And if you threw a rock in my eye and ganged up to ostracize me for being different, as a Harvard PhD and decades long mountaineer, then I would likely not want to live in, near nor share your (small people's) city life if I were a giant.

PS - I have been in the presence of one of these AniMen; the volume of air being breathed (in/out) around me noticeable enough that it would take a dozen horses or thirty 'men' to exchange the equivalent with their lungs. So, if a tree falls in the woods but no man comes back to report that he 'heard' it with human ears ... it still makes a sound (Psych semantics aside), since all the birds, animals & God still heard it. Meditate this ... on the Tree of Wough.
