Incorrect. I have yet to describe whether or not I believe in god at all. I have specifically refrained from doing so in order to ensure people cannot claim, "You only say that because you're an X." Well, more pistols than swords, but that's the general concept. Of course, sex appeal can have its problems. I've given him the perk/quirk combination that he has alcohol tolerance but only drinks the best. Ah, see, that's why I use the Virtually Indestructible Keyboard (available at your local Radio Shack...or, at least, that's where I got mine.) The keyboard is completely encased in rubber. You can spill anything you want on it and it won't hurt it. And when you need to clean it, you can dip the whole thing in water.

you see D&D requires you to use your hands and meager math skills and your imagination. this causes your body to burn calories, hence it is excersise and i shun all excersise as being from the devil. D&D in Israel
Not really stanism and D&D but certainly related. According to this article the Israeli army sees D&D players as detatched from reality.

Could'nt resist the bad pun! Seriously though, myself and several friends have been playing D&D for the best part of 25 years and we all are at least agnostic. Does this means we are less likely to choose to be satan followers the than a somebody who firmly believes in its existance? Is D&D better or worse than something like Warhammer RPG? It has pretty elaborate 'dark gods'.

Seriously though, myself and several friends have been playing D&D for the best part of 25 years and we all are at least agnostic. Lucky you - I haven't had a decent game in years... 1986, Dales Bible camp - very fundementalist, very charismatic... some youth from a neighbouring church had naively bought a copy of Basic D&D, and were struggling through trying to play in one of their caravans. I stupidly stepped in, offering my six years expertise to help them out. Naturally, they loved having an experienced DM, and we had a great game. Then it slowly dawned on me that there were numerous elders of their church, surrounding the caravan in the twilight, praying fervantly against our game. Eventually they raided us, and thus began the pointing out of pictures of orcs, and the asking of how this could be gloryfying to God, etc. As an outsider, I quietly slipped away into the night, pissing myself laughing  Next day they had to take the set back to the shop, where they were allowed to buy a copy of MERP, as Tolkein was felt to be 'ok'. They also picked up an expansion - 'Paths of the Dead'  - and so it all began again... Good times
