I'm an evolutionist and an atheist - and if I were a Christian I would be even more opposed to creationism than I already am.

I can't be expected to wage a fair fight with a guy who must have all sorts of neat Batman sound-effect frames ready to download. At least give me THWAK! and KA-BAM!

Wow, there goes all my curiosity. Think you just saved me a Sunday checking out that one.
Okay, me. My sister once called me a pseudo-animist and it works as well as anything else. I'm in love with nature and lean toward Wicca if anything, but I'm effectively an atheist. I was saying dinosaur names before I could walk... I struggled with the cognitive dissonance of paleontology and Christianity for most of my childhood, bought into some spoon-fed YEC misinformation for a while, and wholeheartedly rediscovered evolution and recent scientific advances after I wriggled out of the faith.

(I have no idea, but I think some good old fashioned fart jokes would speed the whole thing up...)

Currently a theist. As for the age of the earth/universe, I would have to consider myself agnostic. Despite my belief, as far as my current level of knowledge goes for science, the old age for the earth seems much more plausible than a young one.

I'm a three literal day creationist believing earth created first in our Solar System since the sun, moon and some stars were created sometime on day four. Before day three no telling how old things mentioned then are. I'm a born from above (of Holy Spirit of Jesus) Christian, having received Jesus as saviour at age ten some 58 years ago. Nothing posted here has shaken me, thanks to the fulfilled prophecies and other substantial Biblical stuff which I've followed and studied since a kid. The unproven and unexplained other other will bear out in the end with the Bible intact.

Can a god even be an atheist? I mean, wouldn't you have to believe in the existence of yourself, at least?
