Another one for Bill

A point that I haven't seen before and it is articulated in Bill's usual clear way.
That is that creationists can not win if they attempt to make the flood into creation "science".

Sylas is one of my favorite posters; always polite, often witty (in a dry sort of way), and actually has something worth saying.
This post he explains why there tend to be so few creationists actually willing to debate the evolution vs. creationism, and accurately describes the maniacal glee with which we evos descend like pirana in the New York sewers on the creationists who do show up.
Thanks, Sylas.

I'm Humbled!
Chiroptera, you understate the case.
I suppose many of us here like to believe we think pretty clearly and write pretty well, but every once in a while someone appears who puts such pretensions into perspective. All I can say is, "Gee, I wish I'd said that!" And that's not even being honest, for it implies that if I'd felt like it I could have. I've had my moments, we all have, but Sylas seems able to string seamlessly together an endless number of these moments.

Can we just get a change made to the software to post a note here everytime Bill posts something? It would save sooo much time.
Yes another one that the YEC's will shun like a vampire shying from the sun.

MHambre makes his re-debut with another of his well-articulated, sharply-worded posts. In this one, he uses Overton's four criteria for science to show - unequivocally - that the ToE IS and creationism ISN'T science.
Welcome back, Mr H.

I felt compelled to say something like this, too. I'm not surprised to be awed by someone else's knowledge, but also be awed by their even-handedness, clarity, and creativity is something else.
My hat's off to Sylas, as well.

What? Another POTM from Sylas! (and one for Quetzal also)

In a topic that otherwise seems to mostly be a babble-fest, Sylas does a nice summary of evidence for the big bang and old universe.

I think I love you. This was a fabulously detailed explanation of science.
