OK Mike
How about the pre-dinosaur "kinds" like Dimetradon. How come there are NONE of these around. Are you telling me that they all missed the boat.
As to honesty and nitpicking, can a gorilla and a chimp mate? How about a Smiledon and a tiger? A tropeognathus (sp?) and any other pteronedon? Seems kind of relevant to me (pun intended). Do you not understand mating? I am sure htat someone on this board can explain that to you if you need help .

Ahhh, so pseudoobscura and several other identical apearing Drosophalia are the same kinds even though they can not mate.
Now I get it

Re: thanks
Well if the assignment was for a science-based topic at a non-religious school and you have relied on that particular website for information then I am afraid that you are likely to fail.

o nah don't worry
that was just a bit of the assignment
the whole thing was actually on how the dinosaurs died out
different theories... evidence supporting and stuff like that
she wrote on my preliminary report in the "controversy section" to do something about the old creationist vs evolutionary thing

Absolute garbage.
But a great example of the misrepresentations, outright lies, and absolute failure to present any hard, undeniable evidence for their claims, that characterize such sites. If you would like a good explanation of why that site is crap, pick a sentence at random and I (or anyone else who cares to do so) can probably dismantle it with very little effort.
If I sound bitter and emotional about this, it's because I was taken in by those lies for too long and feel that my intelligence has been insulted and my faith abused.

I think Aqua Illusion is just being funny, John, so be cool now.
Go read the site. You cannot take it seriously in any way - I laughed my ass off at it.

Good to know. Do you mean you're happy and fulfilled, or just very attractive? Regardless...

That the best you got? Unsupported assertion. Contradicting their own worldview (Jesus' death = our salvation). Physical death, besides, is supposed to be a wonderful thing because you go to heaven. Fossils of believers speak nothing of sin and judgment, do they?
I was hoping you'd actually throw in some of their crap about the magnetic field or salinity of oceans... but maybe I'm just taking this too seriously. I'm gonna go have a beer and play Twister now

God said two of everykind, male and female. Was Noah given the ability to know which egg of every dinosaur was male or female. The incubation of every egg was to be easier than a grown up of every kind plus he could get an egg from one nest and one from another to enable diversity in breeding later.

I dunno, was he? That's not supported by the bible, certainly. But I guess if you feel free to invoke miracles, you can propose anything you like. Why not just have god beam him eggs of appropriate sex?
You might be interested to know that, in alligators, the sex of the egg is determined not by gametes but by temperature. Could Noah's ark have been sufficiently temp-controlled to ensure both male and female eggs?
plus he could get an egg from one nest and one from another to enable diversity in breeding later.
Two eggs is not a diverse population, no matter where they're from.

God said two of everykind, male and female.
It is a bit more difficult than this, the second Flood myth says:
Genesis 7
1 The LORD then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. 2 Take with you seven (pairs in some mss ) of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, 3 and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.
Noah was a busy boy!
