Re: Guessing about guesses
So somehow we ought to go by what is officially guessed about the universe, rather than what some individual or small group might have on it.
Well, it works, doesn't it?
Surely you cannot deny that humans have enjoyed awesome advances in technology thanks to this scientific approach that you are denigrating.

There is nothing wrong with having a systematic and methodical approach, which many scientists are true to, but it is not all that simple and innocent and truthful as you might imagine.
Nor is it as complex and guilty and fallacious as you seem to be implying.
If science isn't uncovering truth, then why is it working so well?

But if you want to go down the dry road of science which has conveniently dismissed spirituality then what you end up with is a forum that is short of numbers and boring as hell,
Science has not dismissed spirituality.
Too, there are plenty of science forums that have tons of members and discuss all kinds of exciting things.
You are just plain old wrong.

That could be true, but if it doesn't dismiss it, it would be respectful of it enough to not drive by it and try to find naturalistic replacements for it.
Really? Do you get mad at your doctor for recommending an antibiotic rather than praying for the evil spirits to leave your body?
