Does anybody watch "Da Ali G Show" on HBO? I'm no regular watcher but I happened to tune in, and what do I see? A hilarious science vs. religion roundtable featuring Kent Hovind, of all people! Plus three other guys. Later he skewers Ralph Nader (who admits that no one's figured out how to put a box on a cow's a$$hole) and C Everett Koop.
The funniest parts were when he adamantly resited being referred to as a Homo Sapiens (you can guess why) and when he accused Kent Hovind of leaving a floater in the backstage toilet.
So funny! (I bet Hovind did it, too.) Does anybody know who the other three guys were? I thought I recognized one of the other science guys.

Can't help you with the names of the other guys, but I've seen all (I think 6) of his first season. I think that guy is HILarious! I believe he somewhat of a 'smart' guy, graduated from some prestious college in England. His comedy is deeper than it even appears.
On another episode, he goes to a Gun rally down south as a really openly gay interviewer...You can only imagine the reaction of the 'good 'ol boy' he was interviewing! There was another one where he has a Narc there to show different kinds of drugs and why they are bad...needless to say Ali wasn't on the same wavelength as the cop.
Another great running persona he does is an obvious arab type character that is looking to meet american woman. He shows up at a little league baseball game, and somehow gets them to let him sing his counties (Kasastan, I think) national anthem...this to a slightly post 9/11 crowd.
I can't wait for the new season!

HI Frog
The guests were:
Dr. Jeremiah Bauman (Public Interest Research Group)
Dr. Joseph Coates (Futurologist)
Graham Molitor (Public Policy Forecasting)
And pea-brain Hovind of course.
I have the show on an AVI file, I cannot upload it to my website because it is about 80Megs, and my site stores only 50, or I would have uploaded it for you.
Brian.

I would love to see that show myself. I suspect it can't be uploaded to any public place for copyright reasons though.

Hi,
I am sure we could use a file transfer program, I think ICQ has a function to transfer files between two users.
If you really want to see it I am willing to use any program you want to transfer it, 80megs wouldn't take long to transfer.
Brian.

Brian -
I've got a website that you can put it on - ftp or whatever. Want me to make you an account?
P.S. - That is such a disturbing avatar, I don't know where to begin

Hi,
Sure that would be great, it is worth seeing. Ali G mentioning 'homo' to Hovind is a classic.
The clip with Hovind is only about 5 minutes long, the 80 meg file lasts for 29 minutes, but the whole show is really funny.
Brian.
PS, The avatar is my 'Son of Stan' LOL
Creepy wee thing innit!

If anyone else would like this file, or would even like a chat sometime, feel free to ICQ me. I am a relatively new user with ICQ so be patient!
Brian.

I keep getting a 'failed to establish socket' message.
Any ideas?

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention, when you connect, you're going to need to turn passive mode off (on my ftp client, you just type "passive"). Are you connecting, but just not able to put a file because of that?
Update: I deleted the size-zero file that was in the directory after you said that it wasn't working; if you had started again uploading before I posted, I hope I didn't mess it up.

It's fine now, I logged in through Internet Explorer and the file is uploading as we speak, it shouldn't take very long to complete.
I will let you know when it is uploaded.
Brian.

Ok... it's a bit concerning that I don't see the file there, or a record of it in the logs, and my server requires passive mode be turned off to upload (because I use port forwarding on my firewall), but I'll trust you that it's uploading
