Re: Why was Kirk Divisive?
My question now is, why do you talk about Jesus every day?
Several reasons.
  • Because He is my significant other.
  • Because some people are receptive to Him and I can comfortably encourage them through Him.
  • I love sharing Him with people who respect me for who I am.

When both religious and non-religious people reach the same conclusions then you know religion isn't the reason.--Percy

Critics would of course say that "God" is a product of human imagination...but then again God may well declare that all of creation is a product of His imagination! It is all in the perspective of the observer.~Phat

All I can say is that everything that Jesus tells me, either consciously or unconsciously, is 100% against Trump. It has taken me awhile to listen. And I still have a question about King Saul. He was not a very good person and yet David respected him for being Gods anointed. Does this mean that God allows bad leaders in power for a reason?
I had to see what the internet had to say.

Jesus told you that he's 100% against Trump, but you had to check the internet to be sure? You think the internet is more reliable than God?

The still small voice of Jesus speaks to the heart and not the mind. One of my flaws is that I often trust my mind. (over the heart)

You know this is bullshit don't you? I mean even you must know that it's nonsense. You talk to Jesus all the time - publicly apparently - but you actually don't really believe it. If you did, you wouldn't be googling away - you're mainlining to god ffs.
You can't trust Jesus talking to you at all because you don't actually believe it yourself. You know that Jesus doesn't talk to you, you just mutter to yourself about Jesus. Just like the nutters on 7th Avenue.

You’re forgetting that Phat thinks that the Jesus’ message is unimportant - the important thing is to believe that Jesus is God.
So why should he bother listening to anything Jesus has to say now?

Actually, Tangle you are WRONG. For you to assume that I think its nonsense is merely you projecting your own unbelief. Call me a nutter if you must...it will validate your own choice to become an atheist. Nothing more. And that goes for anyone else who agrees with Tangle.
Earlier, I posted a Video highlighting Cliffe Knechtle. Without being coerced into watching an hour of him, pull the transcript and read what his arguments sound like. I am curious whether the Peanut Gallery considers him as deplorable as Charlie Kirk, and why. He never touches politics.

    Belief
For many, belief isn't something they choose. It sneaks into the brain one fact, one idea, one impression at a time until one day there it is, large as life and acting as if it belonged.

I suppose I am wrong. I was assuming that you had a degree of self-knowledge that obviously you don't.
Here it is again. You tell us that you talk to Jesus, but before you can trust him, you have to check what some guy on the internet says. Doesn't that sound just a bit out of whack to you? He's supposed to be god, but you don't trust him to be 100% right.
    How do you explain that?

    So what are you saying?
GOD is not an *it.* GOD is the great I AM. I am not battling an "it". I am embracing a Creator. Perhaps the Rastafarians said it best. I and I. He is the great I AM. I am the mortal who is allowed to exist for a moment in time.
But of course, you can't find the data to verify any of this. You thus remain entirely free from any influence. As if Data itself were god!

I think that the "Jesus message" Is very important. Getting rid of that leaves humans without a conscious Higher Power. We are reduced to learning only from each other. The blind leading the blind. But a physical materialist likely sees no other option.
