Just to make it very clear, Washington Post Opinion Editor David Shipley planned to run an endorsement of Harris, but owner Jeff Bezos instructed CEO William Lewis not to run the endorsement, and Lewis passed that instruction down to Opinion Editor Shipley.

The suspicion is that Jeff Bezos fears that if Trump is elected that a Trump administration will retaliate against Bezos and his businesses because Bezos's Washington Post endorsed Harris.

You can't get more clear than this headline from Fortune Magazine: Jeff Bezos blocked the Washington Post’s endorsement of Harris after it was written but not yet published:
