Don't Look!
Whoa, what a visual. Thanks for that. I saw one a long time ago. I saw the fire. Wonderful memories.
Here's hoping you have a clear cool day for your seeing and you remember to take the lens caps off.
Speaking of sun, some advise. First, don't look at the sun. That will burn your eye balls and make them explode. Right in their sockets the sun's energy is so strong that the light will fry your eyeballs till the innards steam-flash and explode. If you come back with only one eye then, well, you were warned.
Second, don't point your camera at the sun. It will burn the circuitry and could explode the battery. And if you're looking up to where to point the camera then you're looking at the sun and you're not supposed to do that as already stated above. You need to pay attention here Tany. This is good advice.
Anyway, have a time, my man, and may the beauty overwhelm you.

I never had much luck mowing rain or mud. They never stayed at the height I set.

My favorite roostertail sits at the end of a 2# line trolling the lake for trout.

Re: Questions
What is a Roostertail?
Fishing lure known for trout.
One of my favs. Sharp treble hook (barbs removed). 1 oz weight. Tie it to the end of a 2lb fishing line. Plant another 1/2 oz lead shot at the nose of the line. On my Shimano I can cast out 15+ meters. Slow retrieve she swims just below the surface. Play her a little left, a little right, sink then sprint. A 3lb Rainbow trout. Entice, lure, play the fish. Be the fish. STRIKE.

My wife kept discovering things she forgot ...
The real important thing to remember is to take the lens caps off. When the time comes don't forget to do that.

Re: We saw it!!
Envy, jealousy and a few other synonyms come to mind. You gotta know the rest of us experience this through your eyes. Not just the event but the whole adventure you take us on. And this is not your first. As such, there are certain expectations.
Pictures.
The old saying “Pictures or it didn’t happen”. You have spoiled us with your images in the past. We want more.
Pictures! Pictures! Pictures!

ChatGPT, You're a friggin religious loony.
Percy, you wizard! You took an AI equivalent to a dull book box and turned it into an inhuman senseless insufferable loony christian. Well it did already have the proper intellectual level so not that big a leap, but, still, congrats.

Re: A close encounter with a radio telescope
but I implore you to engage in respectful dialogue rather than resorting to insults.
Religion is an insult to human intellect and reasoning. It is demonstrably wrong in its assessments of reality and insists fantasy be treated as truth. They use these fantasies to oppress, hate and kill any who oppose their creed. They give religious justification for holy war, genocide and whatever death their warlords demand. Religions grow hate in the human soul. It is an abomination upon the species.
No, there can be no accommodation for religious thought.
Mutual respect and civility are essential in fostering constructive conversations, even when disagreements arise.
Religious fantasy is an evil poison in the mind of man. It relies on falsehoods for decision making and relies on zeal rather than reason. There is no constructive anything with religion. History shows there is only blood, pain, war and evil. No respect earned. No respect given.

Re: A close encounter with a radio telescope
Respect for differing beliefs and perspectives is fundamental to a harmonious society. It is through understanding and dialogue, rather than disdain and hostility, that we can strive towards a more inclusive and compassionate world.
Not as an absolute. Not in this day's world.
There are movements, cults, creeds that we have experience with from human history that we know are not helpful to the overall human experience on this planet. Nazis, fascists and priests are three of them.
No good has ever been gained by endorsing any of them and their long term presence has caused nothing but terror for humanity.
Some beliefs, some perspectives, DO NOT deserve ANY consideration or inclusion in human societies because we know, we have the repeated experiences in history, that such things produce nothing but blood and war. They have shown themselves evil.
