Pretty ironic, considering these little troll-flies accusations against me. Why don't you remove forum rule #10? One or two trolls are usually pretty equally controllable in a forum of decent people, but there are about 5 of them here who seem to make a sport of seeing who can most flagrantly violate forum rule#10.
Well, it's equally ironic that a guy who logs into a FREE well designed and well run forum, a guy who criticizes every single thing the designer and host of the forum says as a participant in forum discussions, a guy who criticizes every aspect of Admin's performance managing the forum, that guy who thinks someone with power on this forum agrees with his negative opinions is paying attention.
Some of us here really do disagree with your opinion about everything, and we are expressing our contempt for your slurs and lies about everything you find disagreeable whether it is factual or not. In my case, I am expressing my personal contempt for you as the quintessential 2020's Ugly American, because if we don't stand up to you people, all of humanity is doomed. If Admin wants to punish me, that's ok, you will still be an asshole!
ABE: and maybe you should spend more time following rule #8, Avoid any form of misrepresentation.

Re: bloodbath
My own opinion is that success in discussion is achieved by gathering facts and putting them in context in a way that brings about a better understanding of what is likely true. Success definitely is not insult, denigration, fallacies and falsities.
As a participant, I have no administrative power in this thread.

It seems strange that Minnemooseus, (Adminnemooseus) is here watching, and hasn't stepped in to moderate this thread.
It also seems strange that Minnemooseus (Adminnemooseus) would put a green approval dot on Message 857 that so trashes forum rule #10.
The evidence is in, I've long suspected it, Percy and Minnemooseus are the same person. So you're Admin, Percy, Minnemooseus, and Adminnemooseus. Who knows how many more user names you have. More importantly, who cares? As you're deleting this message and banning me, please remember that people don't get mad when lies are told, they get mad when the truth is told. Goodnight.

You mean other than the dunce that bitches about it so vociferously? No. I don't think anyone else cares how Admin treats you.
Goodnight.
What? You leaving in an emotional huff again? The admins are just so mean to you? How sad.
Or have your masters reigned you guys in because this isn’t working? Not enough poison is being pumped into society to make everyone love them some Trump.
You and your league of brownshirts for the Trump Reich gotta regroup quick. The election is fast coming on, your guy’s going to jail … and going bankrupt. There is a lot of insurrection to foster in a short time if he is to avoid these things by causing a civil war.
You modern American Trumpette-Nazi’s are well motivated. He has spread his hate well. Now his desperation for glory and office to save his empire from the hounds he conjured of his own making is well shown. Time for your Trump Reich legion to step up the divisive hate rhetoric. I’m sure you’ll be back with another script of poisonous lies soon.
Things are not looking good for your treason, marc9000. Trump is going down and he's taking the republicans with him.

The Ugly American has left the room...again. It's hard to figure out why he keeps coming back if it isn't to just be an asshole troll. Everyone here knows he's a liar and an idiot cult member.

Percy and Minnemooseus are NOT the same person
The overturning of Roe vs Wade was the crowning blow, in regards to my feelings about the Republican party and Donald Trump.
The Republican party is a gang of deplorables, or worse. And "deplorable" is by far an inadequate descriptor of Donald Trump.
The best of the Republicans are pretty much the "rather quit than fight" gang. It says something, when Liz Cheney is the shining light of Republican sensibility.
Donald Trump is a psychotic narcissistic nuclear grade flaming asshole. The only reason I can have any sympathy for him, is that he is suffering from significant mental illness.
Now, Donald Trump is beyond deplorable. What does that make anyone who supports him?

Someone who supports Trump wants to maintain proximity to, and in the good graces of, the reins of power. It's a delicate balance, like getting close to a pig without getting muddy. And some, like Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene, like it as much as the pig.
Regarding abortion, it's a similar balancing act. They're for the strongest anti-abortion laws, but they're also for democracy and for heeding the voice of the people (in this case).
Republicans don't seem to believe tyranny can hurt them. Tyranny is just so they can stick it to Democrats while feeling safe themselves. For them, tyranny in defense of Republican liberties is no vice (should sound familiar).
WWII Germany and cold war USSR remind us of the evils that men do, but we need only look at Israel and Russia today (among others) to know that evil is still active in the world. And sometimes, as when we send arms to a genocidal ally (alongside the irony of a Ukraine starving for them), it's us.

Deplorable wanna-be's, which is far worse.
It is Trump's nature to be deplorable, either born that way or raised that way. It was largely decided for him. In a way, he can't help it.
His followers have made the conscious decision to be like Trump. They have chosen to be deplorable. And they are motivated to surpass him in every way.
They strive to be deplorable, while Trump is a natural.

Sleepy Donny
We have not been getting any news while we're on our road trip, but I saw something on a TV in a truckstop, about Trump falling asleep in court yesterday. Is this a spoof?

Republicans are the dog that caught the car. For years they could hide their deplorable rhetoric behind Roe v. Wade, knowing that voters wouldn't actually experience the harm they wanted to do to their rights. Now, voters get to see what life is like when those Republicans put their policies into action. The result is a bunch of Republicans trying to run away from the policies they pushed for decades.
Putting reproductive rights on a ballot is no different than putting race based segregation on the ballot (the original "states rights" battleground).

What insurrection?
During this campaign year we've heard it from Republicans over and over. There was no insurrection, and Trump had nothing to do with it. But what did newspapers across the country think happened?
These images of newspaper front pages from across the country answer those questions. It was Trump inspired insurrection. These are taken from Front pages capture chaos of riots at US Capitol:
There seems to have been very little doubt about what happened 3½ years ago, but now the conservative Supreme Court is considering whether use of the obstruction law against the January 6th rioters applies despite that they held up electoral college proceedings for a number of hours and caused Congressmen and woman to flee for their safety, which certainly sounds like obstruction to me and to almost anyone else not wearing a black robe or soaked in Trump lies.
