Now all we need is an experienced teacher to tell us if this was really written by a 16-year old. Well, an experienced teacher would notice first, there are only one or two sentences per page, but I don't know if that would be expected from a high schooler or not.

Still I like Tyson's point about doing more verbal quizzes, presentations. As Tyson said you reach into the kid's mind to see if the knowledge is really there. I like it too, but even written tests should reveal knowledge or lack. I personally am more apprehensive about misuse of this machine learning technology to fabricate audio and video fakes of real people to incriminate or humiliate them.

Several months ago there were a series of posts I saw on Facebook that were from an "AI" app that converted insect macro photographs into "alien" caricatures based on big-eyed grays alien models. They were amazing, but many were disturbingly malevolent appearing. The app was around $50 or so and I didn't try it.
