I'm saying that they have characteristics of Fascism
And cheesecake has some of the characteristics of cheese, that doesn't mean that cheesecake is cheese.
The CCP is deeply authoritarian, they have that in common with Fascists, but that doesn't make them Fascists. You are conflating Authoritarianism and Fascism. There is more to Fascism than Authoritarianism. We shouldn't just use the terms interchangeably, even though many do.
China is both Communist and Fascist.
That's just gibberish. The two terms are mutually exclusive.
The CCP is no longer really Communist. They couldn't give a monkey's about Marxism. They don't seem to me to have any great commitment to any specific ideology. They might be best described as State Capitalist, but ultimately, the CCP is simply self-serving, cynically pursuing whatever policy will most benefit their own elite.
