Re: Democrats hold the US Senate!
Trump? Not if he gets indicted and convicted first.

Re: Democrats hold the US Senate!
No....Biden.
You mean the guy who's actually able to get things done? Like reduce the effects of the world-wide inflation. Like actually helping Americans' finanacial (contrasted with Trump grifting everybody for personal profit). Like actually helping bringing Americans some relief from exorbitant medical expenses (eg, placing limits on the cost of insulin, limits on medication for senior -- unlike Trump's repeated empty promises of a truly great medical plan that never existed and Republican congressmen's and senators' "repeal and replace" obsessed on repealing the ACA with nothing to replace it). Like finally getting infrastructure done (contrasted with Trump's endless stream "infrastructure weeks" which never accomplishing anything besides diverting attention away from his latest scandal and/or criminal activity). Like actually being able to speak and deliver a message (contrasted with Trump's incoherent rants in which he's stymied with words longer than two syllables, like "yesterday" (we saw him hitting the lectern with his fist in frustration at that difficult word) ).
The one who was able to reunite our allies rather than make them turn away in disgust.
The one who is able to actually lead. The one who is not a serial loser.
The one who actually believes in America and the Constitution (contrasted with Trump, the traitor who tried to overthrow the government).
Sorry this list is far short than it could be, but I just woke up and I haven't had breakfast yet.

Re: Recession?
But when one party is trying to govern and improve the economy (ie, D) while the other (ie, R) is trying to destroy democratic institutions (like fair elections, the Constitution) and threaten to destroy the economy (eg, refuse to raise the debt ceiling if they don't get their way, destroy Social Security and Medicare, employ the same economic measures that PM-for-50-days Liz Truss had used to destroy the UK economy, support a coup to overthrow the government, be accessories after the fact to espionage and treason), then it is worse than ignorant to blithely say that "both sides are the same."
Both sides very clearly are not the same.
