Recently I facebook friended a 35-year old woman who was born in China. At some point I mentioned that I had written a song about Chai Ling in 1989. She first told me she didn't know who I was talking about. So I posted the wikipedia link to Chai Ling in our Messenger stream. And then I linked to the googled pictures of the Man In Front of the Tanks, and she replies
"Yes, I know about this, but can we not talk"
and looking through the pictures I find references to thousands killed in the Massacre that is illegal to mention in China and suddenly I am scared for her life.
Then she writes "I'm Beth. What should I call you?" and I answer "Nate".
And she continues "Hi Nate, nice to meet you, what are your usual interests?"
And I'm thinking it's already too late!!! Where is the real person! Snatched in the middle of our conversation!

"I'm the Grim Reaper now, Mitch. Step aside."
Death to #TzarVladimirtheCondemned!
Enjoy every sandwich!
