I'd say the codes are a 10 and up kind of thng, so they're pretty easy. The ill-effects suffered by minorities during pregnancy care and childbirth are tangible and real. The most famous recent example of a minority receiving inadequate childbirth care was the birth of Serena Williams daughter in 2017 when she suffered what she described as a near-death experience as she experienced blood clots in her lungs and a hematoma in her abdomen. Black, American Indian and native Alaskans have pregnancy related mortality rates that are two to three times higher than for white women and increasing with age:
Minorities forced into an involuntary birth but unable to afford normal pregnancy care will suffer a higher rate of risk factors that result in infant mortality.
Watch the delinquent and jail records. Disadvantaged, neglected and discriminated minorities will of course suffer higher delinquency and incarceration rates. Their right to vote will be compromised. They will suffer higher mortality rates at the hands of law enforcement.
Non-whites will also will gain demographically and that will be the great benefit that overrides the ills. Our efforts should be directed at obtaining appropriate care for all prospective mothers from conception to childbirth and beyond. Potential future demographics should be the least of our concerns. --Percy
