Greatest I am writes: When did you stop celebrating your color or race and let shame for yours, I think/guess, be your expression? Can you quote anything in this thread on where you think someone is expressing shame for their skin colour? I don't see that anywhere. This can be the result when someone thinks things are dualistic when, in reality, they are multi-faceted. You end up guessing that someone is likely on one of two sides... instead of knowing that there are many possible reasons that you haven't considered.

They stupidly equate that to KKK and such stupidity. Really? And how would you know that, given that you're the only one to mention the KKK in this thread (until now - whoops!  ). --Percy

Multi-Faceted vs Dualistic
Greatest I am writes: All those I can name are all multi-faceted and thus dualistic. Do you know of any exceptions? What about the example you provided? See Message 165 You discussed RvWade/abortion and there's 6 sides I was able to list very quickly off the top of my head: RvWade (Abortion) Sides:
- Power for whites
- Power for non-white
- Life of fetus
- Non-life of fetus
- Life of pregnant woman
- Non-life of pregnant woman
There's more, too:
- Father's input
- Religious input
- Family input
- Current Law
- Where life begins
- Woman's bodily rights
- Possibility of non-consensual pregnancy
And likely a bunch more than that, even. Can you describe a single "dualistic sense" that incorporates all these many different issues on the topic? I don't think it's possible without losing sight of the various issues. Because so many different issues are in play at once.

Multi-faceted graphs starts off as a dualistic graph and end looking identical. You have to start it with duality in mind and given priority to get the multi-faceted one. Regards DL
