He seems to thing that Genesis 1 is actually about creation when the reality is that it was a far more recent human creation than Genesis 2&3 and that it's purpose was to justify and market the concept of a six day week and a Sabbath. Everything else including the God character in the Genesis 1 fable is simply a plot device designed to help maintain a 'Hebrew' identity separate from the other accepted and far more attractive religions during the Babylonian exile.Candle is simply a pitiful example of the Christian Cult of Willful Ignorance and Deceit.It's sad that so much of modern Christianity is simply the product of lies and willful ignorance.

He claims to be a Bible believing Christian yet thinks there is a god of the bible.First, there is no such thing as "The Bible™". There are numerous Canons and each has a book they cal the Bible, yet they are all different collects of stories. The shortest Canon has only the first five book of the Old Testament while the largest Canon has over eighty books.Second, if he had ever honestly read the Bible he would know that the description show not one god but rather each god that the author of that particular story wanted to create.The god of Genesis 1 and the god found in Genesis 2&3 are mutually exclusive, two entirely different critters.The god found in Genesis 1 is totally competent, creating without hesitation simply by will but also aloof, apart and having no interaction whatsoever with the creations. Once done he says that's good enough and takes a nap.The god created by the author(s) of Genesis 2&3 though is not totally competent, learning by trial and error and not creating by will alone or without hesitation and trepidation, using whatever is handy and somewhat bumbling and unsure. But this god is not aloof, not apart and does interact with the creations.Two entirely different gods created to serve two entirely different purposes.He is still thinking like a child and has never put aside his childish things.

Plus, errors happen. If the errors are not so serious that they keep the critter from living long enough to reproduce, then it's likely that the error will get passed on to future generations.Evolution does not work by creating changes that are needed rather it works by keeping those changes that just happen to give the critter an advantage and not passing on those changes that would be too harmful.

Remember that it is NOT just evolution.They are willfully clueless about Christianity, about how Bibles were created, about what Jesus is quoted as telling folk to do and not do and even about who is supposed to be saying stuff in the stories.All of Evangelical Conservative Christianity is a mansion built not just on sand but un-compacted soil, a mansion which must collapse if ever touched by honesty, reality or reason.This is why they have created their own Avoidance System designed to prevent any contact with any breathe of clean air which will collapse the mansion.It is the Christian Cult of Ignorance a Deceit.

Christianity has always been willing to adopt any religion and re-brand it as their own. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, any excuse to party and nothing says party like pogroms and witch hunts.
