Re: Powerful Stuff
In my Model, on the other hand, the smallest units are referred to as (still more-rarified, than neutrinos, and undetectable for us) elemental ether units.
You need to come up with better names. "Elemental ether units" sucks as a name. I'm going to start using a more functional name: Etherors.
Just as no one wants to call electrons "electromagnetic force carrier units", so you should start using "etheror" for your basic imaginary and undetectable units.
If you don't come up with better names, no one is going to pay any attention to your model.

Re: Powerful Stuff
Wait just a minute! Wasn't "Insanitite" the product name for Trump's scam where he was selling his brain cells for $20 each? Then it turned out he didn't have any detectable brain cells so the had to use frog brain cells and we all know what happened next. Hmmmm, or maybe that was the "uvbencondium" scam?
Tinyweenium. Ignoranfimal. Mentalphallium. Insanitite.
Anyway, all good names for Michael to consider!

Re: Powerful Stuff
To correct a mis-statement in your Post. - I do have a possible field test of my Ether Model. I have described it in a few earlier posts here, so I won't go through it again, except to mention again that it would be designed to tap into naturally-occurring etheric forces, and checking a prediction that objects inside the test-system will undergo a decrease in their density (an effect not produced by known forces.)

Re: Powerful Stuff
I have described it in a few earlier posts here, so I won't go through it again, ...
What? You won't even reference your own message? Well, that certainly does send a message and not a good one.
I recommend that you edit your message by appending an ABE ("Added By Edit") that contains a link to your message in question.
There are two ways to do that:
  1. With a mid ("message ID") tag. Syntax: within square brackets type mid=message_ID_number . The message ID number is the six-digit number in parentheses after the Message 545 of 545 in the message title block; the mid of your message I'm replying to is 893965. So using this tag I would link to your message with [mid=893965] (Message 545). This works for any message in the forums regardless of topic, so I can link you to the latest message in the Humor topic, Message 1367. Use Peek Mode to verify that.
You can also see the message ID number in the URL; eg, m=893965. There is also a corresponding tid tag for linking to a topic, but to get the topic ID number you will needed to follow the topic's link from the All Topics page (or just hover the mouse over that link to see its URL) The tid of this topic is t=20201, so the link is An Ether-Based Creation Model. Again, use Peek Mode to examine the underlying markup text.
  2. With a msg ("message ID") tag. Syntax: same as the mid and the tid tags, except the keyword is msg and the message number is the number within the Message 545 of 545; eg, the message number you're replying to is 537.
To my knowledge, this only works within the current topic. Therefore the msg of your message I'm replying to is 545, so using this tag I would link to your message with [msg=545] (Message 545). Again, use Peek Mode to verify that.
  3. Just include the message number in your text; eg, "I have described it in a few earlier posts here (xxx, yyy, zzz)"
That way you will appear to have nothing to hide instead of looking like you're trying to be devious.

Re: Powerful Stuff
My previous mentions of my possible field-test did not include any additional information as to the exact details of what it would involve, besides what I just gave in my last Post. So there wouldn't be any point in referencing those earlier mentions of "field testing" the Ether Model.
I would go into those details only to a potential financial sponsor.

Note that a financial sponsor with any normal credibility would insist on some sort of report as to what they were financially supporting. It seems to me that your whole idea is your own theory or belief and not scientifically backed according to the rules of evidence and mainstream science. In order for someone to back you, they would have to believe in you. Otherwise, the whole topic devolves into a hypothetical pipe dream. They could of course share your enthusiasm for your "model" or dream. This is a tough crowd here...you likely wouldn't get a dollar out of any of them.

Re: Powerful Stuff
What is so sad is that there are so many many examples out there on how to propose a new condition and how to test that proposed condition. A classic example is Einsteins proposal of gravitational lensing. Einstein proposed a new condition, that gravity could actually bend light and also proposed a method that could test his proposal. It stated what things would be needed as well as what should be observed and only a few years later Eddington was able to use the method outlined by Einstein to conclusively prove Einstein correct.
The difference is that Einstein published all the necessary models, method, process and procedures that would be needed for the test while NotanMD refuses to do anything including actually defining any of the terms he regurgitates.
NotanMD is simply pathetic.

And that potential sponsor would immediately run your details past some scientific types who would tell him what you've been told here, that you're a crank.

Or, to keep in line with current business practices (including Trumpian economics), if that financial sponsor can promote that cranky idea in order to bilk investors.
