And then you focused your responses to drag it off topic and make it all about your god fantasies.

I find it fascinating how much alike this group of crack-pots (CPs) sound. Every single one of them completely misunderstands the scientists actually working in these fields, and this is obvious from the CPs misuse of field specific jargon. These scientists are always looking for anomalies in the data because a new discovery can make a whole career, but most are wary of sidelining their career in pursuit of a model for which no evidence exists anywhere we have looked, so far.
If the CPs ever present any evidence we'll science the shit out of it!

My bad. I always argue with jar. My apologies if it distracted you. But Michael MD seems to be missing.

No. No, Phat. No apologies necessary. You were doing your (unpaid, voluntary) job on behalf of this community.
I agree it should not have been promoted, but I accept your reasons for doing so.
This place is a lot more fun when we have the occasional pot to crack and crush into shards and then pulverize the shards into dust.

Re: Stop and smell the aether
In order for physics to directly study the ether, it would need to have a way to generate a predominantly selectively-etheric field.
Our present technologies are geared toward qiuantum/atomic forces because those are the kinds we can observe directly.
I claim that the primary actor in all those manifestations is the ether. What our technologies are geared for are quantum forces, which interact with each other via things we can observe, like waves, vectors, and so on. Their primary motivation, operationally, comes from how these larger energy units first "feel" changes in the underlying ether, through its vibrations, and the effect that has on the "building block" elemental ether units they are made of.

Then get to work inventing such a generator.
Those of us who doubt that there is such a thing as "the ether" aren't likely to invent it for you.

Re: Stop and smell the aether
OK, I see. You are not going to answer a single question, just blow a bunch of smoke and mirrors.
You need to up your game if you expect anyone to take you seriously. You don't have anything even close to an hypothesis.

Re: Stop and smell the aether
Mike, Do you have any evidence to support your conjecture? I mean present evidence that pointed you in this direction.
Any math? Any model (equations) that describe this aether field?
Do you have anything concrete we can see that leads you, even by extension, to postulate this aether?
You must have had a reason to think on this issue. What was the evidentiary impetus?

And you let him in.
Good morning! O Tangled One from across the pond. Caught any fish lately?
Did you ever follow boxing? One of the greatest (self proclaimed and in actuality) fighters was Muhammad Ali. When he held the title, he used to give many other lesser fighters a chance (opportunity) to get their shot at the title. Critics called it the bum-of-the-month club. Did he need the fights? What did those fights do for him? What did they do for the lucky fighters who had a chance to dance with him in the spotlight? If EvC just sits here with the lot of you eating peanuts and cracking jokes, what purpose do we serve? Ask Percy...its his baby. But I need not have to defend my decision for every newbie I promote nor every old one who comes back to visit. We saw how Mike The Wiz ran. jar predicted it. But I let him in precisely because he is controversial. Perhaps a mistake...but so what? Raphael came back and is a delight! He grew up, became an actual Pastor whom I respect, and adds to our conversations.
But enough of that. I have something for you. Along the lines of how you once said that religion is diminishing in the world and will be entirely irrelevant within another 100 years. I wont drag Mr. Michael MD's topic off, however. Look for it elsewhere.

Hello, Michael. By now, you can see how tough our resident peanut gallery can be. Traditional. Educated. All Critical Thinkers and adherents of the scientific method. But you are a bit different.
You seem intelligent enough though, like me, labeled as misguided. Perhaps you can share your profession, what education you have had, and what it was that led you to an interest in this Creation Model of yours.

Re: Stop and smell the aether
My question is which Star Trek series you had worked on as Techno-Babble Specialist.
At least starting with TNG, when screenwriters wrote scripts for a Star Trek episodes, they would mark up the script with the places for the techno-babble specialist to insert the appropriate techno-babble.
They did a good job of it. As an engineer, I found that I could follow the engineering techno-babble and it made sense or was at least coherent. My dermatologist was a sci-fi fan so I asked her about their medical techno-babble and she attested to its quality. Even though they did play far too fast-and-loose with DNA.
Better than always saying "reverse the polarity of the neutron flow".

There you go waning SOURCE info again Phat. Someones profession or education are pretty much irrelevant when the CONTENT is simply word-salad.
Look at the CONTENT Phat. Throw source away.
