I think Barr may be giving some cover to Trump because he knows the only nefarious reasons the documents were at Mar-a-Lago is as trophies for Trump to show off to his guests. He could brag about knowing the full scoop on bin Laden with actual documents. He has his love letters back and forth to other powerful leaders like Kim Jong-un. That's how important he is. He could prove it. No one had better proof than he had. He had the best proof.
When, in a convoluted way, Mike Lindell is (kind of) a rational voice of the right wing.
Not, at this point, that the tapes show be available to all. The releasing of the tapes is one of the great travesties of the modern GQP.
McCarthy has just ascended to join Trump, McConnell, and a few others, to the ranks of "party when they die".

People tend to forget that on January 23, 2016 Donald Trump said
quote:"My people are so smart -- and you know what else they say about my people? The polls?" Trump asked a crowd at a Sioux Center, Iowa, rally Saturday. "I have the most loyal people -- did you ever see that?"
"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" he said, referring to the major street in New York City that cuts through Manhattan's large commercial district. "It's, like, incredible."
He understood his supporters then and absolutely nothing has changed since January 23, 2016.
True, he does understand the mind(or lack of the same) of a conservative populist. In the documentary I watched regarding Putin and the Presidents, the commentators mentioned that Putin played Trump like a violin. I see Trump as a master manipulator as well, however. He purposefully says stupid things in the press because stupid attracts stupid. It's like spreading out bait for the mice in the woodwork.
Biden used to be quite sharp, but he now doddles around like an old mafia don, as seen in the video of him and Zelensky recently. Though there had been no air raid for days in the Capital of Kyiv, the air raid sirens erupted almost as if on cue. and please understand I am taking no sides here... I'm simply observing the propaganda of the press in regard to Ukraine.
This is now legally official. Several of the FOX personalities willfully and knowingly "endorsed" the stolen-election hoax knowing it was false. Their boss said so ... under oath.
quote:“They endorsed,” Mr. Murdoch said under oath in response to direct questions about the Fox hosts Sean Hannity, Jeanine Pirro, Lou Dobbs and Maria Bartiromo, according to a legal filing by Dominion Voting Systems. “I would have liked us to be stronger in denouncing it in hindsight,” he added, while also disclosing that he was always dubious of Mr. Trump’s claims of widespread voter fraud.
Asked whether he doubted Mr. Trump, Mr. Murdoch responded: “Yes. I mean, we thought everything was on the up-and-up.”
Personally, I think that at least in the first quote Trump was mocking the progressives. They seem to think that education is unquestionably better than intuition and gut feeling. I have no degrees, but I don't feel that I am stupid. And I'm still waiting to hear why I am "pitiful, pathetic, deplorable, despicable bigoted willfully ignorant, and dishonest."
To be fair, Trump likely knows why he is. I could never live with myself were those words true.
Let's forget Source for a moment. I can safely throw away all of the "Mafia Don" insinuations since I got them from FOX. I in no way think that Biden is horrible, though someone needs to show me why he is any brighter.(Than Trump) It seems as if though one side vilifies Russia and the other side see the real adversary as China. One side supports Ukraine and the other side sees NATO and Ukraine as not necessarily their business.
And I realize that the geopolitical argument is not that simple.
I DO know that China is not our friend. Nevertheless, it is far better to attempt to arrive at a consensus with them rather than speak of War. There are NEVER any winners in the game of War.
