It was really something to watch wasn't it? The irony is that if he had actually tried to address Covid19, he might have saved America, he really could have been a hero, but he always takes the low road. He will be a total clusterfuck in his up coming trials, he just can't help himself. OK, I think I'm done now. I don't think talking about this shit is fun. The day after Trump was elected was the worst day of my life! And then the next day was worse, over and over, worse and worse. My sense of dread grew. Yesterday when Joe Biden was sworn in was the best day in 4 years and 2 months. For the first time I feel cautiously hopeful that America will step back from the dark abyss.

The scary thing is people here actually think that they have already made the case. Just to be clear, I wasn't trying to make a case to you. Instead I was saying your idea of "just move on" is bullshit. And it is not going to happen.
I do get scared when people uncritically believe a conclusion when no examination of the evidence has been made on the part of the believer. Yep, I don't like that either, but my conclusions are based on the evidence I have seen. I will be interested to see if my conclusions will hold when I see the evidence presented in the trial.
I am wondering if I should pretend this isn't as bad as I know it actually is. I'm wondering why you care what people on a rather obscure internet forum think, especially since you so often misunderstand what they say. None of us has any influence on what is going to happen to Donald Trump and he is totally responsible for what's going to be his life for the foreseeable future.

That sure looks like "fighting like hell" to me, just as Trump instructed. It's also clear from numerous videos that the insurgents believed that Trump instructed them to perpetrate the insurrection and they clearly thought Cruz and the rest of the traitors in Congress also supported them.

Half the time I can't decipher what LNA is on about, but it seems like he has not seen the numerous videos of Trump's bullshit about not letting the Dems steal the election, from before the election until January 6. I'm not sure if it would make a difference to LNA's interpretation of the events leading up to the storming of the Capitol, but by now hundreds of millions, if not billions of people have seen and heard the video record, with more becoming public every day. This is the historical record of these events and it is global. I suspect that the corruption of the Trump Cult has been more thoroughly recorded than any other regime in the history of the planet. Between tweets and videos it's a huge amount of data. It should all be stored in the Trump Library of Shame.

And let us not forget that there was plenty of hate for Democrats in general and Nancy Pelosi in particular in addition to that. As well as the fact that the Democrats in the House were sure to block any objections that made it past the Senate. The attack was the only way to win. And we have to remember that Trump remains a clear and present danger to the US and our national security, if he continues to have access to classified briefings. Trump defense team pleads insanity
Yesterday Trump's 2 lawyers mounted a defense that was insane. The irony of Trump getting a legal team that is as incompetent as he was as president, is delicious. Reportedly, trump spent yesterday yelling at the TV. I admit to a warm, euphoric feeling as I imagine that turd's stress and rage. I hope every single second of the rest of his life is miserable.
