Um, vaccines don't kill viruses, they build up a person's immune systems defenses so it can kill the virus. Are you really this ignorant or are you just being a troll? Edited by kjsimons, : No reason given.

Here in Orlando (and also Winter Park, FL) our hospitals are overflowing with Covid patients, so many of which need oxygen to breath that the local water utility can't get the liquid oxygen it needs to generate ozone to purify our drinking water. They are talking about possibly having to put out a boil water alert to the entire city soon if they can't get more oxygen deliveries! Of course the vast majority of the patients are unvaccinated, sigh!

Well, I might have to boil water, I don't know about them. The well water here is full of hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell) and so without the ozone treatment to burn that and other stuff off I'm not going to drink the water. The ozone treatment is rather high end and is what the water bottlers use to make water taste better and sanitize it.

Re: Going 4 for 4 on the 4th.
My wife just got her fourth shot today. I was thinking of holding off a bit as some experts were saying it might be better to wait as we are currently in a bit of a lull with this virus. Waiting a little could ensure a bit more immunity went the virus ramps up again.

Re: Sleepy Joe was wrong
You're a troll, every reasonable person knew what he meant and he even said earlier in this townhall that "If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalized, you’re not going to be in an ICU unit, and you are not going to die. " Did Biden Say You Won't Get COVID if You're Vaccinated?

Re: Sleepy Joe was wrong, but not as wrong as....
Right, but it reduces the severity, hospital stays and death, which is a good thing, right?

Re: Covid vax does not work - You are not saved
Percy writes: When Biden stated last year that getting vaccinated meant you can't get covid he was wrong. What he should have said is that it greatly reduces your likelihood of getting covid, and if you do get it it reduces the likelihood of hospitalization and death. I remember this press event and during one part he correctly said that it didn't stop you from getting covid but would reduce the severity. In the other part of the press event he did indeed say the above. I just don't remember the order in which the two things were said. It was an off the cuff remark and he just misspoke but Porky and his ilk won't let it go.

Re: I got my booster Friday
I also got the latest Covid and Flu vaccinations on Friday and my arms are still sore as well but it's not as bad as the shingles vaccination, that one really hurt. I'm on the fence about the RSV vaccination as I'm old enough but don't have any of the underlying health issues (compromised immune system, heart/lung disease) that they recommend getting it for.
