What it shows is that "God says so" and "our own inner moral sense says so" work about the same, if not better with our own inner moral sense given the discrepancy between atheists in the general population and in prisons.

Personally, I don't like scams, and that smells like a scam. If I have to die in order to test your claims that doesn't seem like something worth believing. If you end up being right, all the more power to you. If the Muslims end up being right and they get in, but you don't, then all the more power to them.

I don't have an overly negative view of religious indoctrination, but the trends are hard to ignore. From what I have read, about 80% of Christians are Christians because they grew up in the church. As more and more people leave the church in the US we will see fewer and fewer Christians over time. In my lifetime (if I make it to the average), I may even see the cross-over point where Christians are not longer the majority. The UK seems to be doing just fine with that situation, and I suspect the US will do just fine as well.

I am as concerned about your warnings as you are by the warnings Muslims give you. That complete absence of worrying as you bite into that strip of bacon . . . that's how I feel right now.
