First of all, I dont agree that allapologists are simply snake oil salesman.
What does the evidence show?
Phat writes:
Second, the evidence shows that nearly everyone who markets the "snake told the truth and God lied" explanation are themselves atheists and/or agnostics...except you.
What is actually written in the story? Have you read the Bible Phat? It's not what I market, it is what the author(s) of Genesis 2 & 3 wrote.
Phat writes:
It is something that I cannot explain except to say that it is found through faith and not through evidence.
So it is simply a belief and there is no way to tell if it is God or a Bad Burrito.
Phat writes:
Of course I want to be reponsible but unlike you I'm not so proud that I insist on doing everything myself as you were evidently taught to do.
Again, stop misrepresenting what I have said. I have never said you must do everything all by yourself.
But Paul said you are to fight the good fight; not win the good fight, Paul said you are to run the race; not win the race. Jesus said you are to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, comfort the sorrowful, protect the helpless, teach the children...
Again Phat, it's not what I say, it is what the Bible says.

Once it is someday proven that the supernatural is actually real, the entire secular humanist intellectual mindset of this planet will be blown away.
But that's the story of history.
Supernatural rainbows were proved to be real (i.e. to be natural). And it was the supernaturalism that was blown away. Supernatural volcanoes were proved to be real (i.e. natural). And it was the supernatural that was blown away.
In any case, it no longer matters. Christianity has been thoroughly discredited. Events in the USA have demonstrated that Christianity is a disgusting evil religion based on racism, greed, the worship of Donald Trump and the complete rejection of the moral teachings of Jesus.
So much for miracles.

Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

miracles were performed by Christ when faith was evinced. what is the point of trying to prove the existence of miracles to the faithless?
being alive is miraculous, even if you're diseased, disabled, or terminally ill, and the Lord said that a man's affliction was to show the Glory of God, which is a curious statement. the sufferings of the suffering are testaments to the Testament.

On one occasion Jesus fed five thousand people. On other occasions He fed several thousand more. There is no reason to think that all of those thousands had faith in Him or even that they knew He had done it. The guest at the wedding at Cana didn't know He had turned water into wine; they thought the host had saved the best for the last. It appears that miracles were an end in themselves, not some ploy to evince faith.
