we dont predict the future anymore than you do. If you think things are always gonna be a certain way "until the sun burns out" so be it. So you all claim the book was invented for propaganda and control over early people? How quaint. The bottom line is that your concept of the truth is no better than mine. You may claim that science is patently trustworthy in regards to when the sun will burn out and how stable and warm your life might be until then, but why not then use your logic, reason, and reality to explain how stable humanity is becoming and how we have outgrown our beliefs of old. Don't forget to include the FUD of modern media and news, an infotainment source that causes far more harm than any sermon in any church.

You're kidding? Your lot are predicting it all the bloody time and have been since Christianity began. It's in the teachings and in the culture. Faith was convinced it was happening only last year. You're talking about - actually hoping for it - all the time these days. Nothing is going to be the same way, everything changes but the sun always comes up, has done for billions of years and will do for billions more. Why do YOU think you're so special that YOU get to be here when the end became nigh? Just like all the others all through time. It's just narcissism.

My 'truth' has evidence to support it, yours is made up and demonstrated to be bunkum time after time. If you're going to quote your little book, please quote the bit about end of the world being nigh within the generation of those there at the time. How many failed prophecies do you need?
