Just another example of the CCoI belief in source over content.
TESTIFY!

Unfortunately, those who listen to TESTIFY and actually believe TESTIFY seldom have the basic courtesy to post retractions after the utter nonsense kills them.
And to say "I don't think I have cancer" has got to be the silliest thing you have ever posted. Don't think. Go to a real Doctor and find out if you have cancer.

That also assumes the guy is telling the truth, that he ever even had cancer and that he is not just another "miracle cure carny sideshow clown Testifying for Profit" that knows where the most gullible people are to be found.

It is not direct evidence Faith, it is TESTIFY. And TESTIFY is the lowest, weakest, least reliable form of evidence. In fact in many if not most cases of TESTIFY it is simply false.

Recent news found all over the internet and even in TV news stories is that drinking four cups of coffee a day reduces the chance of death.
I don't think so! The problem, at least in the US, is that most of the people writing and reporting the news are simply too ignorant to recognize really stupid assertions like "drinking four cups of coffee a day reduces the chance of death." They just don't get it.

But all you have is "TESTIFY" Faith and that is the least reliable, most inaccurate form of evidence possible. There is simply no corroboration in any of your examples.

Faith writes: Why would you assume he made more as a juice teacher than he would have as a doctor? Because in the forties and fifties and sixties and even seventies Doctors did not make very much. Juice Guru and Carny Snake Oil Salesman paid far better. BUT...that is not the issue. The issue is TESTIFY is simply the least reliable least worthy form of evidence and you have presented absolutely noting but TESTIFY and TESTIFY for PROFIT at that.

Faith writes: The technique here really boils down to character assassination every time. Doesn't matter what the topic is, that's always the tactic on the EvC side. Either the writer of the posts or the people being quoted are all just subjected to character assassination. That's the whole of your "scientific" arguments in the end. Too bad people are influenced by such tactics. No one but you has tried to assassinate anyone's character Faith. What people have said is that witness testimony is the least reliable most inaccurate form of evidence possible. That is simply acknowledging reality and being honest. You have presented absolutely no evidence other than Testimony and in fact Testimony for Profit. This is a common pattern to all your posts Faith; why you accept what the Apologists say the Bible should say instead of what the Bible does say.

Spot the guy that shopped his pain. The issue I have with your story is either the guy should be investigated or the doctors.
If the person was really prescribed that batch of drugs then as Ricky said "you gots some 'splain to do!"
PT writes: Now jar has already dismissed this story as completely useless or even worse and most of the rest of you readers could easily dismiss it as bogus and fraught with uncertainties. Since this is the first time I saw that story I think you are somewhat mistaken. What I certainly will say about that story is I find it very hard to believe and also find it anecdotal and the very weakest, most unreliable, form of evidence. Edited by jar, : fix quote marks

Giving them the opportunity to lie about attendance or support.

LOL
Of course there is no Fall in the Bible or any disease caused by some imaginary fall, but it certainly is a great way to con the gullible and the Christian Cult of Ignorance out of their money. Too funny!

Faith writes: But the conference was focused on nutrition as a cure of disease, not just small improvements in the national diet, which seems to be the Harvard focus. No Faith, that is simply not true. It was not focused on nutrition as a cure for disease because there was nothing but the standard con man TESTIFY. It was just unsupported claims to sell quack products. Testimony is the least reliable, least factual, least worthwhile evidence possible.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it is very likely not a doctor.

Faith writes: I'm just tired of the attitude here, this smearing of anybody who doesn't toe the status quo line. Except of course Faith, that simply hasn't happened. Pointing out reality and dishonesty and carny cons is not smearing anybody.
