I had a couple of minutes so I thought I'd interject myself into the conversation.
I don't see it as being an argument about which god is the true god. The differences we have is what is the true nature of God and how does that impact how we live our lives.
In another thread jar mentioned Emeth who is a character in Lewis' book "THe Last Battle"

The following is what happens to Emeth after he has gone through the stable and has entered into the new world which is Lewis' metaphorical version of the next life or what happens with the renewal of all things.

Therefore if any man swear by Tash and keep his oath for the oath’s sake, it is by me that he has truly sworn, though he know it not, and it is I who reward him. And if any man do a cruelty in my name, then, though he says he says the name Aslan, it is Tash whom he serves and by Tash his deed is accepted.
