Re: Hillary? Ack!
Although a better representation, I still think it not accurate enough.
(Armchair psychologist alert . . .)
For one thing, . . . erect? Oh c'mon. If anything, Cheney sublimated his inability to get it up with his desire to go to war and murder millions. So a flaccid penis would be better symbolically represented.
Second thing, Cheney's received FIVE draft deferments during the Vietnam Era. If any sex organ should represent Cheney, it should be this one . . .

Re: Voting against not for
Registered Independent, I usually vote Democrat since the Republicans are awful.
It seems to me that to the Republicans and Tea Partiers, being conservative means keeping those currently having power & money in power & money.

Re: Voting against not for
It seems to me that to the Republicans and Tea Partiers, being conservative means keeping those currently having power & money in power & money.
And the "DINO" democrats that are the right of Reagan now. The only one I see bucking that trend is Bernie Sanders -- he is for the common working man and refuses campaign contributions from big money, raising all his campaign funds from common people.
A strong working class and a strong middle class is built on respect for workers and honest wages. Minimum wages, paid overtime, and benefits may seem like a lot to a small business, but it is the only way you will have people with the money to spend on your business. Henry Ford knew it and paid his workers enough to be able to buy cars.
In Donald Trump we see the results of years of people in the Faux Noise Nutwerk echo chamber telling us to hate government, hate people that are "taking your jobs" hate immigrants and hate "lazy" workers or people on food stamps (most of which work at poverty wages at places like Walmart where you are trained in how to get the most government benefits). You distill that cool-aid and you get Trump supporters.

Re: Hillary? Ack! But still better than ANY republican
So what you are saying is: if you cannot have the SPECIFIC ORDER of arrests that YOU mandate, you would prefer ALL mass-murderers to stay free. ...
Curious habit you have of arguing against straw man arguments.
No, what I am saying is that Cheney and Schrubbia invaded sovereign nations on trumped up lies and misinformation, that they pushed torture on captives that were rounded up willy-nilly for finder's fees and massively overstepped their bounds given by the Constitution, international treaties and international laws.
And I think what they did stands head and shoulders above anything Hillary has been accused of even if it were true, which has not been established to my knowledge in anything like the degree of knowledge we have about Bush/Cheney.
What Hillary stands accused of -- purely by partisan politics -- are trumped up innuendos and misrepresentation of facts -- or are you deluded enough think Bengazi was anything real? Especially when the GOP cut funding for defending such compounds, and especially when you compare similar occurrences under Bush\Cheney that did not raise a peep from the GOP or anyone in government.
She made her decision on Iraq based on the misinformation supplied by the Bush\Cheney warmachine, who were looking for any excuse to trump support to invade oil lands.
But hey, if you really think she is a criminal then list the crimes and provide the evidence that they are real and not propaganda.
Or step away from the kool-aid.
Enjoy

Your zeal makes you easy to brush off.
I suspect your reply and accusation is a disingenuous attempt to quickly get out of arguing an unpleasant personal stance: the support of a mass murderer.
If not, then I seem to have made two regrettable errors.
One: I must have only dreamed that an administrator on this forum chided the participants to "argue the position, not the person." But by judging how many "likes" that your post received, it appears you all believe the admin's admonishments were ONLY for me.
Two: I thought this was a debate forum. You know, a place where somebody presents an opinion, supports it with FACTS, and then others examine the information, counter with their FACTS, back and forth, until finally, the truth is exposed. Yet all I received from you was akin to, "your facts, which I haven't bothered to research or even identify, are stinky, nah, nah, nah."
Not exactly 'post-of-the-month' material Omnivorous.

Lets find common ground 99% can agree on.
Hillary has been crowned the anointed queen by the establishment against that evil old "white man socialist".
quote:
The former secretary of state's campaign says that Clinton is backed by 145 House members, 38 of the 46 senators who caucus with Democrats, 12 governors and 17 national unions.
By comparison, Sanders has been endorsed by two members of Congress and three labor groups, the Hill reports.

Yet look at the RealClear poll averages
Iowa
Clinton 45.5%
Sanders 45.3%
realclearpolitics.com
New Hampshire
Clinton 42.6%
Sanders 48.8%
realclearpolitics.com
Lets celebrate the fact that the people of New Hampshire and Iowa aren't swayed by a bunch of elite opinion dictators that tell us what we should think and who we should admire. (I admit that I really admire Hillary Clinton for her courageous stance on UFOs, but her recent promise to investigate that issue isn't why every Senator's endorsement went her way)
Lets not be bitter. This campaign has turned out to show some hope for the future of the human race.
And this goes for the Republican primary too. I was pretty relieved to see that a lot of typical b.s. that is spewed out in elite Republican circles is a thing of the past. In that December CNN debate, Carly Fiorina was attempting to distort Hillary Clinton into being some sort of dove -a typical neo-con lie technique - and she tried to twist Donald Trump's opposition to a "No-Fly Zone" in Syria as being, "like that weak Hillary Clinton," while Fiorina bragged about her tough support of the No Fly Zone to which Trump interrupted, "That's Hillary Clinton's position." Fiorina kept on spewing her 100% crap about how the generally anti-war Trump was like ("dove")Clinton, and Trump literally & visibly lost his breath. You could see the air blow out of his silent mouth on the split screen as Fiorina displayed old school neo-con 100% in-your-face-crap that portrays 99% (but perhaps not quite 100.0%) pro-war individuals as "weak" in an endless, and now thankfully recognizably (to many)T-I-R-E-D, trick to move the goalposts further and further toward a fascist direction. The days of all Republicans taking a ferocious pro-war stance while "courageous Joe Liebermann" takes a "moderate", "non-partisan", "reasonable" stand for "independence" and "civility" with 45% of Democrats to help lead our nation into a gentle centrism as we "bomb bomb bombs away" with fellow moderates like John McCain (while successfully smearing the opponents of the wars as the extremists!) and the drumbeat of entire U.S. news media ARE OVER.
Again, lets not be so bitter. This month has been pretty good for the human race IMO.

Re: Hillary? Ack!
Say something once, why say it again? Oh, why not.
I didn't ignore Admin's warning--I critiqued your tactics, not your person. I admire your intentions and share many of your political analyses, but your totalitarian ultimatum--agreement or shame--is, as I said, insulting and counterproductive. Allies are not clones, and I respond to your moral and emotional blackmail the same way I do to any other.
You poison your own well, dronestar, and appear to be blind to that fact.
You do not make a case: you toss a salad of assertions and links, and now, like Big_Al, tell me to go do research, rather than support your own assertions. I know that work is not nearly as much fun as ringing statements, but it's work you're supposed to do--not just in this forum, but in life.
You appear passionate, but only about denunciations, not about persuasion. Apparently, the only error you may have made, by your lights, was to overestimate the moral and intellectual integrity of me and others here.
There's something familiar about your tactics. Can you see just a little bit of Mr. Trump in your mirror?

Hey Omni,
Seriously, thanks for the reply. I do think there is some honest constructive criticism in your recent post. I appreciate your effort.
However, you (and others) seem to be acting like a creationist when she is told the flood never happened. And the more evidence that is presented that the flood didn't happen, the more apoplectic she became.
Or more to our current situation, how badly republicans acted when I told them how horrific Bush Jr. was going to be as a president. Then even more apoplectic they became after I gave them such evidence as Bush Jr.'s small IQ, cowardly military service, drug- and alcohol-filled past, and previous criminal behavior.
You know what? The sources and facts I used about Bush Jr. were 100% correct. He was a horrific president.
And now I am using similar sources and facts about Hillary. This time, it appears to be democratic voters who are apoplectic . . .

Huh?
All I did was hint that you should at least IDENTIFY which pieces of evidence of MINE you had a problem with. You have been on a debate forum before, right?
Perhaps you just mis-read my post?

I see above RAZD seems like he wants to debate my position. He is doing this by asking for more evidence, reviewing it, and probably making a counterpoint or two along the way. I know, I know, it's a CRAZY thing to do on a DEBATE FORUM, . . . that RAZD, he's a kook! But I am going to give it a chance. It . . . just . . . may . . . work.

Hillary and Chelsea are spewing lies on health care.
And it seems that even their supporters aren't defending their distortions.
I think Hillary is going to be in a bad odor with the broad left (including 50% on the center-left) after this is all said and done.
I really think Sanders will win this one (though minority voters, especially blacks, will have a hard time voting for a white MALE Jewish "socialist"). I never thought he would be this strong in January.

Get ready
I'm settling in to watch the GOP primary debate, medicinal whiskey ready at hand.
One of these guys will likely be the next president--might as well start building the brain calluses now.
8:01 EST: Aw, jeez, intro moderated by FOX xenophobe in chief, Lou Dobbs.
8:20 Man, the Fox talking heads love 'em some Trump! Just in case, they kinda like Cruz.
8:24 Fiorina declared in the undercard debate that "You would pay to watch me fight Hillary!" Well, no, I'd pay to watch her fight Andre the Giant, though. Anyway, Fox has declared her the Winning Loser.
8:29 "Hillary wants power!" Fiorina declares disdainfully. Guess she only wanted money, the power to destroy corporations was only incidental.
8:36 Fox Pet General is outraged a sailor would apologize for violating Iran sovereign territory. Must have been Obama.
8:40 Every web commerical break starts with an AARP ad challenging candidates to explain what they would do to strengthen Social Security. Not ironic...I don't know, maybe just melancholic.
8:46 Nicki Halley is toast: she's in trouble "and deservedly so" says Dobbs. She conceivably offended Trump with her counter to the SOTU, where she criticized angry voices. Run, rabbit, run.
Hey, this is harder than it looks. Sorry for the mess.
8:50 Fox has totally turned around from its past stiffness with Trump: "The GOP establishment just doesn't get it!" A possible schism in the GOP is the small comfort of this election.
8:56 Priebus, the non-carbon based vehicle of the RNC, says, "We'll support anybody!" We know. He also salves Hally; maybe she won't say they told her to attack Trump.
8:58 Candidate take the stage: 4 red ties, 3 blue. All white males. Just sayin'.
9:00 I understand the live audience is prepared to thump the moderators and throw them out sans coats. Don't expect that will be necessary.
I'll stop here. No, don't beg. I need both hands to drink.
