In various intensities, but the strongest radio signals are clouds verrry close and spinning at relativistic speeds to the event horizon and this is exactly the scene the EHT is looking for.

It will 'see' the effect of the black hole as displayed by the surrounding gas. OK.

So will this resolve any remaining questions about the existence of black holes?

As far as I'm aware there is no question about the existence of black holes. But then I'm not that far into that segment of the community. Are some still seriously questioning?

Probably, I just have no idea if they are people to be taken seriously. Black holes seem intuitively likely to me and that is all I have to go on.
​
I guess this telescope is old news to many. I thought it was pretty amazing so I figured I would mention it and see what people had to say about it.

Ofcourse black holes exist! What do you think is projecting our holographic galaxy if not the black hole? The mass of a black hole is directly proportional to the size of the galaxy ie the projector is a big as it needs to be for the size of the projection.

Projections need a screen and the dark matter which surrounds and protects our galaxy is the delimiter. So you have no need to worry about the nasty rumours of Andromeda crashing into us.
​

I believe black holes do exist and they are a gateway to an alternate dimension.
