If our universe began to exist, then it needs a cause for its existence. Yea and things cant be at 2 places at the same time right, oh wait they can be, and a particle that does not have enough energy to pass a barrier cant pass that barrier right, oh wait it can, "farmers logic" like yours brakes down once you go out of the realm of everyday life, and especially if you go to extremes.

But my question is, What sort of experimental, observable evidence can possibly exist for a multiverse or for other universes? Gravity waves and statistically unlikely circular patterns in the cosmic microwave background, come to mind. is this what you are after?

I don't see how they tell us anything about the presence or absence of other universes. The circular patterns in the background radiation for example indicate that our universe hit something 4 times, like 4 dents in a car.

The event that prompted that creation is the creation of the universe itself which now has an intrinsic property that vacuum now creates virtual particles. The virtual particles are created by quantum chromodynamics (QCD). So they are caused despite the fact that they are produced spontaneously. Yea but by the same logic one could say the intrinsic nature of absolute nothing is that it wants to represent itself as a sum of equal positives and negatives.

First, as Prof Strassler explains, virtual particles are just that--virtual, not real. They are primarily a conceptual, computational tool. Do conceptual entities which do not really exist need a cause? I dont think so. Um we can measure their effects so they are real they just exist for such a short time we call them virtual.
Can any of you think of any observable effects of virtual particles where we cannot point to external influences as the cause? The Casimir Effect

No, I specifically mentioned the Casimir effect as caused by external influences. It is caused by the quantization of the wave function and the fact that an external apparatus has been set up to provide boundary conditions which eliminate many of the potential modes. (Your video explains how the plates do this). Without such external influences to set boundary conditions the effect won't exist. It dosent matter it shows us that there are so called virtual particles that pop in and out of existence. The vacuum, the plates all that do sent matter its just a way to detect them. virtual particles don't need a vacuum don't need a plate to be "caused" in to existence. Its just easier to detect them that way.
