According to the way things appear - i.e. through observation in the present, water can
not sort everything. For example, water can not sort footprints into the strata. Water sorting is only
one effect that does appear. it is not enough to explain
everything that appears.
I think what you meant to say was, "Wishfully the water sorted things, wishfully water is capable of doing that."
