Want to go back and look at your anti-BBC thread? How's that panning out for ya?
I am also the man that says you are too dishonest to admit your mistakes.
And I am the man that says you are a conspiracy nut with little to no integrity.
Perhaps your reply would have been more effective if you had proved me wrong rather than simply identifying my gender.

CNN writes:
Even though he's done running for office, President Barack Obama has a lot at stake in next year's midterm elections. And a trio of scandals that have ignited over the past week that have forced the White House to play defense have the strong possibility of hurting the president and his party at the polls in November 2014.
I dont like conservative agendas. They tend to put pressure on the struggling middle class to step up to the plate and compete in order to survive---even though some of us need a hand-up(as opposed to a handout).
I am long since convinced anyway that the world as I know it is changing and that I need to find a strategy to find a way to survive for twenty five-thirty five more years at a reasonable comfort level. Granted, im not married nor do I have any kids to be responsible for...apart from all the men-tees that I coach and I'm not responsible for them anyway. Besides, I proclaim that I trust Jesus on a daily basis so I struggle between survival instincts and fully letting go of my attempts to manipulate the future for my own benefit through political activism.
Bottom Line? Leave Obama alone...we need strong Democratic backing to preserve the labor union and keep me insured and fed.

What scandal?
I'm still trying to figure out what scandal happened and what the President might need to defend?

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

It's a shame one of the forum's Fox News viewers couldn't step up and clarify it for us.
Maybe tomorrow, eh?

As far as I can tell, there are two important facts that are driving this investigation:
  1. there is a Presidential election coming up in 2016;
  2. Hilary Clinton might be a candidate in that election.

Re: What scandal?
Let me say upfront that I don't really know. But this is the jist of the conspiracy theory from what I've heard:
They knew that Al Qaeda was planning on attacking the embassy but didn't do anything about it, in fact, they got lax on security measures. Then after it was attacked they denied that it was Al Qaeda and pushed the blame on other stuff, like that 'Innocence of Muslims' movie (or whatever) to keep up the image that Obama was winning the war on terror. Now, after the dust has settled they admit that it was tied to Al Qaeda.
Or something like that, I dunno. I've got better things to worry about.

Second, you are missing the will, the need, to find any way to destroy a sitting president of the opposite party, regardless of the harm it does to the nation, so that you can say that you can do better and should be handed power in the next election.
But what the Republican elite don't seem to realize ...
You mean in addition to not realizing anything?

Well, I know that lies are cheap, but even so I think they ought to concentrate on pretending that she's a lesbian.

Re: What scandal?
They knew that Al Qaeda was planning on attacking the embassy but didn't do anything about it, . . .
That part of the conspiracy theory has been shot down by the recent "whistleblower" testimony. They testified that Stat Dept. officials were incompetent, but they all agreed that there was no purposeful plan to knowingly allow an attack to occur.
The big kerfuffle seems to be over the claim that more security was asked for well before the attack, but they didn't get more security. I would hazard a guess that many other embassies have requested more security and not received it, but no one has been hurt.
It is just political theater with Republicans seeing if they can get some mud to stick.

Where you been the past few years?
He's a Democrat. He's black. He's president. He's a Democrat. He's black. He's president. He's a Democrat. He's black. And he's president.
Additionally, he's a Democrat. He's black. He's president. He's a Democrat. He's black. He's president. He's a Democrat. He's black. And he's president. And finally, he's Kenyan.
All them's darn hard to justify don't you know. Especially them middle two.
And he's a moose-lum. (Thanks, Jon.)

Has anyone suggested a motive, or are attacks on embassies just one of the things Obama enjoys, like the taste of babies and the crunching sound a kitten makes when you step on it?

Robert Gates Calls Benghazi Critics ‘Cartoonish’ (VIDEO)
Category: News - TPM – Talking Points Memo
All the text that's there (also a video available):
quote:
Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates on Sunday defended the Obama administration over its handling of the deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya against a growing chorus of critics.
Gates, a Republican who was originally nominated to head the Pentagon by former President George W. Bush before being retained by President Barack Obama, backed the administration's response to the attack that left four Americans dead.
"Frankly, had I been in the job at the time, I think my decisions would have been just as theirs were," Gates said during an appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation." "We don't have a ready force standing by in the Middle East, and so getting somebody there in a timely way would have been very difficult, if not impossible."
Gates also dismissed the notion that the U.S. could have deployed a fighter jet to Libya in an effort to thwart the attackers, saying he would not have "approved sending an aircraft, a single aircraft, over Benghazi under those circumstances."
"It's sort of a cartoonish impression of military capabilities and military forces," Gates said. "The one thing that our forces are noted for is planning and preparation before we send people in harm's way, and there just wasn't time to do that."

Gates, huh? Well this is not good. It pricks at the republican efforts here. Makes them look ... silly.
Oh, I do humor myself.
