I select a new image on my laptop and hit UPDATE Avatar and it says "Thanks", but doesn't change it.

Yeh, I get that. Apparently the original is still in your browser - others see the new image straight away. If you view from a machine/browser that hasn't been used for EVC you'll probably see it. Either that or clear your browser - nuclear option. If you do nothing you'll see it suddenly appear in a week or so.

Yes, that always happens. And similar things happen at other sites. After updating avatar here, I use SHIFT-reload to reload the page in "firefox". And then I can see the updated avatar.

Evidently, Lamark has decided to resort to personal attacks rather than present sources for his assertions.
Sorry, but I am not going to waste time on people with visceral fat between their (otherwise great) brain tissue. Basic connections are just never going to be made, not matter how resolved the matter might "be".

Theodoric edited the text, 18 minutes later, to make it sound like he was ONLY talking about reading the ANC statement on Ukraine. But the entire substance (and exact wording) of the challenge, I laid out, was that Theodoric quote every single line in the ANC statement, then respond to it. He responded, saying he would if he had a way to open the ANC page. A refusal, on his part, will constitute blatantly obvious trollish behavior. If Theodoric refuses to honor his word, then I ask that every post, of his, should have big bold red letters, warning that he is a troll. Right above his text.

In Rebuttal To Creationists - "Since We Can't Directly Observe Evolution..." Kleinman is resorting to constant spamming. Instead of engaging he is repeatedly posting the same thing over and over. He has posted this about ten times now Message 2347. Kleinman and dredge have resorted to personal attacks repeating the same thing over and over and not responding to criticisms and arguments Please aggressively moderate this thread as it has already deteriorated out if control.

I don't think Kleinman or Dredge can be coaxed into constructive participation, no matter how strong the moderation. They both have their schticks, and that's all they know how to do. I have a long record of non-success in moderation of difficult members. Even lengthy suspensions don't work. If we were deluged with active members I'd just suspend them permanently, but at current participation levels that's counterproductive. My only idea is to seek different approaches to discussion, but I tried that with both of them and was unsuccessful, so I stopped discussing with them.
