Any suggestions as to who or what would make a good "reverse posittion" Great Debate?
How about Cavediver and ICANT, Cavediver having once been a professing evangelical Christian and ICANT, having a fairly good handle on how Evolutionists think?

Re: Great Debaters
Buz - Your exclusion of participation in science threads surely doesn't extend to Great Debates does it?
If not then it really has even less to do with this topic than the inevitable vaguely on/off topic banter that I hoped for.

Fair play. I have already put Mod on the spot and am pushing others to act equally unchivalrously.
But in my defense - I think the Great Debate format is a much under utilsed option here at EvC.

While it is apt to compare your view of the universe to a fictional narrative, the incident you describe occurs nowhere in Gulliver's Travels. You haven't read it, have you?

Buz, you prove my point with every post.
Better stick to apologetics.

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.

I knew the citizens were people. I should have typed "ant size," referring to the citizens. I read it when I was a kid. Admittedly, I don't remember the setting and other particulars. Perhaps it's relevancy to my point was inadequate, Dr. Adequate. I'll re-visit the narrative, by and by.

Or, perhaps: lilliputian?
Admittedly, I don't remember the setting and other particulars.
Do you think it might have been... Lilliput?
Hence the term?
