So should the reply to attempts to teach religion in science classes be a countermovement to force science's take on religion to be taught on a compulsory basis in prayer groups?
That might disuade them from sticking their noses in where they have no right to be.
You would think, but if there's one thing we've learned about Christians, it's that no matter how much they have going for them, they are _ALWAYS_ the victim.
So, I can tell you exactly how this will go down:
"They claim that evolution isn't a religion, but they want to teach it to our kids in prayer class. That's an attack on Christianity! And, since evolution is a religion, we shouldn't teach it in school. Instead, we should only teach Creationism which is not a religion because it's real."
