Seeking New Favicon

Some of you may have already noticed the new favicon for EvC Forum that appears on the tabs, address box or window chrome of many browsers. The prior favicon was my sorry attempt at Noah's ark. This favicon is my sorry attempt at the Darwin fish. Can someone please produce a better favicon for EvC Forum.The new favicon should be clear and distinct at the tiny size (hard to achieve, I've found) and it should be emblematic of EvC Forum. It can be a gif, jpeg, png or ico file. Please post your proposals as responses to this thread.

The previous one did lead one to think of Noah's ark.When I look at the current one, I don't see any resemblance to a fish. I am trying to work out whether it is the outline of a charging bison, or of a charging cockroach.I have no skills at art, so nothing to offer. Sorry.

I didn't see your fish, so I don't know what was wrong with it.Here's my version. The white bits should be transparent, but I can't remember how to do that. On a gray background it should look OK; against dark blue the feet on the lower fish get lost somewhat. And here's a more stylish thing saying "EvC" than that pink thing. Again, the white bits should be transparent and a pale background is assumed. P.S: ImageShack seems to have blurred both of these in converting them from .bmp to .png, which I didn't ask it to.Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.

Because it has great wine(rs)?I was thinking a gold "v" not yellow. As for blue and red, well, I like em.What colors would you like, Jack?Better yet, what colors would Dr. A or Percy like?

Given the skills at this I've demonstrated thus far, I'll recuse myself from comment.However, if you can add transparency that makes my job much easier. I haven't found a way to easily add transparency to backgrounds in GIMP, if there's an easy way please let me know. I can't afford much time for adding transparency to images.Would anyone like to volunteer to do more images for EvC, for things like buttons and image links and so forth? It would be very much appreciated.

The E & C seem fine. The smaller V needs to be a contrasting but neutral color.
