I don't see why the HARs would be a problem for a creationist. HARs are just regions that are conserved in a range of other species but differ in humans; there's nothing about them that provides evidence specifically for evolution. (Especially since the accelerated evolution in most cases represents biased gene conversion, not natural selection at work.)
