The Far Left Side
The Far Left Side is one of the things I look at every day (assuming I have internet access that day).
RAZD didn't mention it, but there is a fair amount of text down-page from that cartoon. That should also be read.

Polka Dot Undies
The local public radio station (KUMD) has a one hour program devoted to things Bob Dylan. Usually this is Bob performances, but the current show was mostly devoted to Dylan covers and things related to Dylan by other artists.
One thing played was "Polka Dot Undies", by an artist whose name I didn't catch. I presume it's the same person as the following video:

DOA: Pioneer Press runs Tim Pawlenty presidential announcement on obit page
Found via Little Green Footballs, which leads to here, which in turn leads to here, which is where I stole the subtitle and what comes below.
quote:
Tim Pawlenty's presidential campaign is Dead On Arrival, according to his hometown newspaper.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press hilariously ran the announcement of T-Paw's presidential campaign on the Obituary page this morning.
Any other day, it would have made the front page. But that's what he gets for making his big publicity push the day after a deadly tornado rips through his home state.
I feel so proud to know that my state seems to be producing both the most wretched and least wretched (but still pretty wretched) Republican presidential candidates.
Maybe we can get the "all Minnesota dumb" Pawlenty/Bachman ticket?

Atheism - I don't believe this shit.

Coyote: Ignobel prize for message and subtitle
Posting this because of the the "is it or is it not relevant?" subtitle.
Author: Coyote
Forum: Coffee House
Thread: Fox news = False news
Run on subtitle: Re: Coyote apparently a pseudo brain dead conservative
Message #: 144
His message, in its entirity:
Or maybe not.
But if you want to start comparing Fox to the lame stream media let me know.
We can start with Walter Crankcase and Dan Blather.
I'd much prefer to keep this site restricted to evolution vs. creation, but you libs just can't seem to do that, can you?
