General Discussion Of Moderation Procedures (aka 'The Whine List')

Honestly, this place has the best Mods on any message board I post on.I think it is because this place is run by liberals.It reminds me of the internet of 5-10 years ago (when it was all liberals).The reason is because I rarely agree with anyone on any site, I am the heel, the devils advocate (seen as a troll by morons, but there is a difference if you have a brain).On a conservative run site, they just ignore logic, and censor you and ban you, they don't care.On a liberal site, they just call you names, and tell you how stupid you are, and suspend you. You have to be a total ass to get banned, and most of the time they will let you come back even if they banned you last week.So yeah, no complaints here, keep up the good work you cat loving liberal commies.

anyone can call me names, but if i call someone else a name, OH BEWARE.O.Olook on ANY thread where I called ANYONE a name, and you will see that someone else called me a name FIRST, it was not moderated (thus making it ok), and all my name calling is retaliatory and in self defense against those who call me names 1st.basically someone throws the 1st punch and I throw the 2nd and then I get in trouble for it, while the real troll (who threw the 1st punch) walks away. I want to ad hominem and call someone names who has opinion that i disagree with and because he is unpopular i can get away with it. godwin's law, lulz his opinions are different than mine and therefore should not be allowed to be read. please censor and ban ANYONE who has different views than us.

you know only those with a "popular" opinion here can break the rules, everyone else has to play by the rules.Or maybe its because you aren't a baby who runs to the admin when somebody says something to you?

1. Yep, every time I get in trouble for name calling, it’s because I responded to a name caller, not in general, but to someone being specific and specifically targeting me.
2. I don’t know, that never happens. Most of the time lefties can only debate through character assassination. It’s their bread and butter move. Sure do. Yep. You aint looking, or you are being purposely disingenuous about it, I was defending an opinion when the _______ cried to admin about me making a joke. I agree 100%, which is why I do not engage with Subbie, or Hoah; I try to not engage with Taz, Theodoric, Jar, Crashfrog, or Panda but their bait is too good sometimes. its just seems so weird, that there is a taddle tale thread so that the little kids and tell on the big kids. I like how you have perceived up there. I also like how you don't take the words so serious of those who tell lies against me. Sure I am guilty of calling people names (that call me names 1st), and I realize that "two wrongs don't make a right", but I am happy to see that you realize there are indeed two wrongs. still new still trying to understand.But how is drawing the line and explaining oneself and what sort of Protestant one is referring to in a thread about Protestant Canon, anywhere close to being off topic.I am sorry, but the way the AdminPD is around here, I am not sure if I can handle this site.This "person" (not sure, acts like a droid) misunderstands the topic at hand and accuses everyone of being off topic and ruins a thread that people are actually posting in (unlike 99% of the mostly inactive threads on this site); and then says you can;'t repsond to its admin posts, like they are correct and final!?! look I understand this is a private site and the Admin can do what they want to, it just seems silly to effectively close a thread on some minor semantics, and accuse everyone of breaking rules and going off topic without the ability to challenge if said rules were actually broken.I am not trying to rock the boat, its just dufficult for me to accept the strict authortarianism of such a liberal site.

The suspensions and banning thread would say otherwise, for it appears you ban people willy-nilly completely arbitrarily based on your current mood. I have read through most of it, and it seems as if people get permanently banned, for the most random reasons.Its fine, I get it its your website and you are the Chairman Mao around here.Its more the disingenuous charade of debating, and following rules that only some people have to follow (I understand they are probably your IRL friends, and that is fine too). I find it amusing that many people here pretend and go along with it, as if there is some legitimacy to all of it.I feel like due to all the madness, arbitrary banning, double standards in every thread, and whatever this place tries to charade itself as, that this has to be a private site that I stumbled upon. I mean why else would any new people want to participate? There is a whole thread about the lack of creationists (something that is quite odd considering the name of this place), but the whole time I'm LOLing to myself about how obvious the answer to the question is, as if this was some fair forum.I appreciate the chance to come here and post, but I have seen enough in the past month. I am just going to go back to lurking, maybe posting occasionally if I cannot resist, maybe to tell someone they are witty or correct.
