I don't see much difference between this and the Magic Kingdom, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Discovery Expeditions, Universal Studios or even Knotts Berry Farm.
I do. Surely there is a difference between make-believe and make-believe masquerading as The TruthTM. Engaging a child's sense of fantasy and imagination is one thing. Lying to them is quite another.
Personally, I'm eager to see them build this thing. But I only wish they would try making it float. What an amusing disaster that would be.

I would say "honesty" is a pretty big difference. Though I suspect it's not so much about honesty as it is about knowing that what you're reading is a fiction.

Not only float, but filled with all the species and enough food to last the total time listed in Genesis and 8 people (4 men and 4 women) taking care of it the same way they would have had to, with no conveniences of any kind.
I think perhaps "float" is enough of a challenge, don't you? Frako, above, will be quite surprised if thing even stays together on the dry ground without cheating and using modern technology.

I fail to see why the Ark is considered a priori to be un-seaworthy?
The dimensions of the Ark are approximately 137 meters by 23 meters.
There are several ships from ancient and medeival history which rival it including:
i fail to see why the spruce goose couldn't fly -- there are several airplanes from approximately the same timeframe that are actually larger, and fly quite well, including the boeing 777.
